Spock sat panting at his feet. “No, just taking Olivia to dinner,” Logan explained. “Okay, good then. I didn't bring a suit.” Tyler shot me a cheesy grin that made me roll my eyes. “And now, are you two ready for Spock's amazing new trick?” “Incredibly. On the edge of my seat,” I answered. Logan nodded enthusiastically. “All right.” Tyler grinned and turned to the dog. “Spock, do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few?” Spock stared at Tyler for a moment, cocking his head as if he were trying really, really hard to understand English. Tyler nodded encouragingly at him, but Spock just wagged his tail.

I'm a human being, not his pet! Charles quickly begged Caroline, "Madam, please keep your voice down." Kirk had just calmed down. He couldn't handle any more surprises. Sure enough, Kirk yelled from the other room, "Charles!" Charles hurriedly ran to Kirk's room. "What's wrong, Sir?" Kirk said, "Remind her we aren't divorced yet, so we're still spouses. She may not be my pet, but she's my wife. She can't be unfaithful as long as our marriage still stands!"

Rage flashed in Kirk’s eyes as his jaw turned to stone. Zach savored every second of the man’s visible misery. Smirking, he tried to shove past, but Kirk’s hand clamped onto his shoulder like a vice, halting him. "I’ll get your junk for you. You don’t need to set foot inside," Kirk said through gritted teeth.

For a bad guy like Kirk, killing him in a single strike would be far too merciful. And since Kirk had many lives, Ray would take his time. The more lives Kirk had, the more times Ray would make him suffer. Ray really wanted to see whether, in the end, Kirk would regret having so many lives. With a thought, Ray activated spatial swap. He swapped a stone inside Kirk's stomach with one outside. The stone inside him was only slightly larger than a fist. But the one that replaced it… was bigger than a human head. In an instant, Kirk erupted in agony.

His eyes were wide as he turned to look at his still living companion. The next arrow, sharp and true, went all the way through Jimmy’s right knee and embedded several inches into his left knee. He dropped to the ground, crying out in pain. “Jimmy!” Spock’s fear was evident in his voice. “What do I do? Who is doing this?” Stefan stepped into view of the men. Spock was concentrating on Jimmy and did not see him right away. But Jimmy began patting him frantically. When Spock finally looked up, Stefan was smiling at them. He did not have the time to worry about the fact that his smile looked crazed. It drove his intimidation stats home.

Kirk said, “I hope King Adrich gets bitten by a vampire and lives forever.” “Hmmmm.” That was all Kenneth said. “Drive.”

Kirk spoke up against my words. I'm starting to feel confused by what Kirk just said. I want to believe that Steven has feelings for me, but I'm also afraid that's what he wants people to see. In fact, Steven has absolutely no feelings for me. I asked him once but got only silence—a harsh truth. I looked at Kirk, thought for a long time, and finally decided to say what was on my mind. I don't think there will be a day when Kirk and I can sit across from each other to talk.

His voice was quieter now, almost pleading. Kirk huffed, his lips pursing dramatically as he tilted his head back. "Feeling’s mutual. You have a hot guy who’s willing to marry you even though—I’m only guessing—you’re his first man-on-man experience, and you're hesitating. I wish I was his mate. I wouldn't think twice." Kirk flicked his hair back like a model in a shampoo commercial, folding his arms with theatrical flair.

“Our Luna is something else. I didn’t realized you wanted to spice things up around here. You never seemed bored. You want to add this spicy wolf into the mix? Did you not have enough stress before?” I laughed and shrugged. “Maybe it wasn’t for me. You and Oliver seemed too complacent.” Kirk snorted. Wiping my eyes dry, Kirk grabbed a wet towel and handed it to me. “Your chest. Then you can try these on. They are mine, so they should fit. The pants might be short but it’s better than being covered in blood.”
