Kissing Bed

She brushes her tears away as she opens her door slamming it behind her. Taking off her shoes and throwing them in frustration across her living room. She runs up the stairs and into her room. Letting her body fall in her bed as she grips the sheets that still has the lingering smell of his scent. She grips his pillow as she falls asleep crying in her bed. (Chapt. 16- Take my Broken Wings)

Her: My husband is not the man I love. No, He is my punishment. No one forced me to marry him, I married him willingly.  I share his bed every night, willingly. I don't love him. I used to love someone else but that man betrayed me and my love. Hence, I punished myself by marrying the man I hated the most. But My husband wants something from me that I am not ready to give.  Children! Him: The first time I saw her, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was my enemy’s daughter.
