Very politely, but with a hint of distaste. I notice it right away and think it odd but dismiss it because I am in a hurry to see the note. “I am Lillian McMasters. I was told you have a note for me at the front desk.” I say politely, but the whole time I wish they would hurry. The younger one of the two, in his twenties, finds the note and says, “Here it is.” As he holds out, just out of my reach. “Quickly reaching for it, I snatch it from him before saying, “Thank you.”

There was a note on top of it too. She moved closer, not knowing if to touch it or not. She decided not to use her bare hands, she looked for a stick and used it to hit the note until it fell off. She used a stick to drag it close to her feet, shaking as she did it. Then, she picked it up and it read: “This is a warning not to touch what is not yours. Let’s be civil people. I hope Lucas looked good in his final moments. Love - Kai”.

Ryder’s POV The whole week went by tortuously slow and the Draven twins were surprisingly distant from me which was a pleasant reprieve but I am guessing it had something to do with San. Everyday, my locker would have a chocolate in it with a colourful and unsigned note on top of it. This how some of them were: Kissing takes 6.4 calories a minute. The air around us seems charged with electricity and I begin to think, will he kiss me here, in front of everyone? “What is going on here?” I hear Ms. Azizen thunder as she marches into the room in a very un-ballerina-like manner. Our adoring audience scuffles into position but Adam holds my hand and raises it to his lips. Before I can let out a yelp of protest, he presses his lips to the back of my hand and staring deep into my eyes, he says, “You humble me, Gigi.” I open my mouth and close it again. I am giddy with euphoria and dizzy with love for this endearing boy standing in front of me. I wonder what he sees when he looks at me.

His touch was soft, as if he were afraid I might disappear if he touched me. “You look beautiful tonight,” he said. “Thank you for coming over for dinner.” I smiled as I stepped closer to him. “The food was wonderful. But I’m still pretty excited to try out your world famous Ramen noodles one of these days.” Gabe chuckled and then leaned in, surprising me with a kiss. The passion in the air ignited instantly as we embraced in front of the sunset. The island air blew through my hair, carrying with it the scent of saltwater and warm sand. It was a picture perfect moment; one that I never saw myself actually experiencing. This island kiss was the most romantic kiss of my life.

It was Knox's handwriting. A short note, not a letter. The kind you leave when you know someone will see it. "Leave your door open tonight. I will come at midnight. Don't make me knock. I want to see you." I read it twice. Then I read it again. There was nothing explicit in it. It was a few lines on a page in someone else's notebook, in a room that someone else used to live in. It was nothing, probably. People left notes. It didn't have to mean anything.

Each kiss was a gentle yet fiery pledge, leaving a subtle warmth in its wake, arousing the senses subtly yet irrevocably. As Manik reached Nandini’s ear, the kisses turned into soft nibbles and gentle sucks. He took her earlobe, now bare of its glittering adornment, into his mouth, offering a tender suck that elicited a soft sigh from Nandini. The action caused a subtle, involuntary tightening of her hold on him, a reflexive response to the pleasurable sensations coursing through her veins.

She hugged the clothes and supplies, her wide, grateful smile left me feeling like I've managed to get something right. She opened the note and let out a soft little sigh. Then she turned to me and reached into her opened dark green suit. "I kept the other note too," as she leaned up to give me a kiss. A kiss that started as sweet, soon turning hungry, pushing, searching as my hands threaded through her hair. “Now, don’t make me wait any longer,” she hummed into my neck as I found the zip of her uniform and pulled it further down. The material made a clinking sound as it hit the floor, reminding us both of the unspoken matter of Padgett’s still-bottled wolf spirit.
