At 3:00 pm, I decided that ice cream sounded amazing. It used to be a weekly event with Chris to get ice cream. I missed her. I grabbed my keys and was planning on going to the grocery store, but somehow I ended up at The Shack. I walked out of my car and headed in. Jessie wasn't there, but a majorly hot as hell guy was. He had short black hair and snake bites. He had green eyes and was about 6'3. His arms were so ripped I thought his shirt would break if he moved. You could see his abs through his shirt too.

But her hands started to hurt, and her actions met with no response. Kieran stared at the footage in the video camera. There was Richard standing beside him. Both of watched the conversation that went down between Serenity and the Commander of the pack. I secretly brought him water, and he didn't even realize it was from me. What an idiot."

Connor's hand wraps tight around his throat, muscles corded with power as he holds my ex there like he weighs nothing. Tyler's face turns purple, hands clawing uselessly at Connor's wrist, gasping for air that won't come. Connor's voice drops low, lethal, sending my heart racing into overdrive. "I've been dying to kill you, bastard Tyler Bennett." He growled and I stumbled back to steps, that was when my gaze traveled down to his fingers, they were pure midnight silver. No fucking way.

I turned to Connor with an apologetic look. “Sorry. She’s… not usually like this.” “I don’t mind,” he said calmly. “She’s interesting.” “Interesting is not the word I would use.” He chuckled lightly. Then his expression shifted slightly as he looked at me more carefully. “So,” he said. “You and Xavier. It’s real?” My chest tightened. I hesitated.
