“There’s a man in the lobby from LMGK who wants to speak to you.” Klaus groaned and checked his Rolex watch. His very gaudy, very expensive Rolex watch. “Oh GOD… of course this happens to me right now… what’s his name?” he snarled. I uncovered the mouthpiece. “What’s his name, Stan?” “A Mr. Brooks. Klaus wiped imaginary beads of sweat from his forehead and placed a hand over his chest, exhaling exaggeratedly. "What a terrifying guy," he muttered to himself. As Klaus sat in his studio, the sudden creak of the door made him jump. But his surprise turned to relief when he saw that it was Margret, not Charlie Sr.

I watch Tarek jog across the cobblestones, carrying a crate of supplies, his face flushed with exertion and that idiotic, shining purpose that Kieran seems to inspire in the weak-minded.
