*** Thorran's friend arrived the next day early in the morning. I was lingering in my room, packing my things when I heard a foreign voice speak from inside the suite. I've never heard that accent before, so curiously, I peak my head around the corner, seeing who will be helping Thorran track where the letter had come from. It takes me a moment to recognize who they are. It's Alpha Archer of the Freedom Pack. He looks so much taller in person and significantly more muscular than I've seen in in the books. He might not be as tall as Thorran, but he still looks intimidating. They don't seem to notice me watching from the doorway, so I keep quiet, observing.

A smirk visible on his lip, "You are quite cranky , that isn't fitting for a lady" He glanced down at the gold watch hidden under the sleeve of his turd. "The Silone should have rared off by now we have so much to talk about Melissa Valsher, the Alpha female or should I say Alpha king" 'This moron thinks am the Alpha king? Is he daft to the prophecy out there?'

The man was ten times stronger than we were, and being a Lycan, he had the advantage of shifting as he pleased and when he pleased; however, we were not going to sit back and allow him to do that because we believed that we couldn’t take him. “Caterina?” I heard a man say from behind me, grabbing my arm, stopping me. I said he scratched the back of his head "I am serious Hannah, the guy that came here today is our Alpha" he said seriously "you are a wolf" I voiced out and jumping out of my chair after it finally click on me "I don't mean for you to find out this way" he apologized and trying to calm me down "do not touch me, we have been friends for how many years now, tell me you are joking" I plead with him, he better be joking and this should be one of his pranks

“What the fuvk! those werewolves went into hiding? Where are they now? What is your plan?” “My plan is simple…” “Nothing you say is ever simple, Lucas.” Fabiano shook his head. He had known Lucas for long to believe his plan would be simple. “I am the lord of the Vampires after all…” he grinned evilly. “Hold up, how does this story take away the fact that they have an Alpha who wouldn’t sit back and watch us take over his throne?” Lauretha asked. “His name is Alpha Arthur. And as I am speaking to you right now, he will be dead in a few hours’ time and that is when we strike. This is top secret. No one else must learn of this until the mission is successful.”

“Convenient.” Slowly turning my head, I looked at the speaker. An Alpha I didn’t recognize. His pack waited behind him, its faces mysterious and its black uniforms. “Is there a problem?” I asked, keeping my voice calm. The man—Alpha Grayson, if I was remembering correctly—folded his arms. “Just wondering how you expect us to believe that. Fire that strong doesn't just disappear.”

Hargrove's jaw tightened but he said nothing. I leaned back in my chair. "Now. Let me ask you something‚ Elder Hargrove." I folded my hands on the table. "In ten years as your Alpha‚ have I ever given you a single reason to doubt me?" Silence. "Have I ever harmed anyone in this pack?" Silence. "Has any female in this pack — any female at all — ever come forward and said that I touched her inappropriately? That I made her uncomfortable? That I so much as looked at her wrong?"

The older woman’s once-proud figure had been reduced to a shadow of itself, but Denise was certain she would recognize her. As the hours passed, pack members wandered by, some pausing to inspect her talismans. Denise played her role flawlessly, answering their questions with the wisdom of an old seer. Every so often, she caught glimpses of the Alpha—a tall, imposing man with piercing eyes that seemed to see through her. She recognized him as Argos, the proud and ambitious half-brother of Morgan. She avoided his gaze, knowing that any slip could mean her end.

I hit the Bluetooth and listen to the phone ring, a male answers, “Crescent Moon, this is Jackson, how can I help you?” I clear my throat, “Former Alpha Braddock there?” I listen as he places the phone down and yells out, “Dad it’s for you.” I wait and listen as heavy foot falls hit the flooring and a deep baritone voice speaks, “this is Braddock.” I gulp down the lump that’s just formed in my throat, “Hello sir, my name is Alpha Christov,” a growl erupts from his throat and then silence, “you still there?” He grunts, “what do you want Alpha Christov?”

Detective Stone asked him, and he peeled his eyes off me and looked at her. “Yea. Yeah, I do. That’s why I sent for you to meet me. I wanted to tell you all that I remembered. I learned that the case is closed and you have someone in prison for what happened.” “Yes, we do.” The detective pursed her lips as she glanced at me. “His name is Alex Harding.” “Hmm,” The man mumbled, and then coughed lightly. “I don’t know that name. Is he from Beacon?” “No, he is not. He is the Alpha of the Silver Moon pack. He and his son moved here to Beacon not too long ago.”
