Detective Joha slammed and started to make his way towards the house. "Damn! You jerk…He never listens to what I say…" Captain Depay cursed. "Nice ass chicks sure sounds nice though…" He swallowed. It is only but Detective Joha's overzealousness that would get him killed one day. He however followed him as it would be foolish to turn back now. Detective Joha pressed the doorbell and after a few seconds a man came out. Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob's brows twitched up. It had been a while they had someone press the doorbell ever since his niece dissapeared. His teeth clenched at the thought of it.

"He got my darling Eli to shine his shoes for him, did he? I'll skin him alive!" Grandpa Toby slowly took off his gold-rimmed glasses and wiped the rain from the lenses. His voice came out ice-cold as he muttered, "The Hargroves? It's Felix Hargrove, isn't it? Some nerve they've got to lay hands on my baby Eli. Seems like those bastards don't know what's good for them."

His breathing had gotten worse during the drive; it became shallow and ragged, his skin pale and clammy. “Dr. Kaine is the best option we have,” Reginald said. “She doesn’t ask questions, doesn’t keep records, and she’s kept half the black market Hunters alive over the past decade.” At the bottom of the stairs was a reinforced door with a small viewing slot. Reginald knocked three times, paused, then knocked twice more. Some kind of code. The slot opened, revealing a pair of sharp gray eyes. “Reginald. Didn’t expect to see you again so soon.”

“Relax, Meadow. I’m not calling you about my dad. I just wanted to talk to you.” What did he want to say to me after all these years? “Mr. Anderson, I don’t think we have anything to talk about.” “Meadow, you can’t act like this isn’t strange! You disappeared seven years ago, only to reappear today as Doctor Meadow Enrique. What is going on? Are you really Doctor Meadow Enrique, or did you come back to New York for something else? Did you come with all this charade of being a doctor just to get my attention?”

He probably had a stroke of luck last time. When Harvey saw the old man's attitude, he said nothing. Meanwhile, Marlee hid behind him and whispered, "Don't be mad at him, Harvey. He's my grandfather, Reginald Judd. He has always had a bad temper. His temper didn't improve despite his training in Mount Cygnus for so many years. However, it just means he's straightforward and holds no malevolent intent. Don't take him too seriously." Harvey nodded slightly as he heard Marlee's explanation.
