Kate cracked her knuckles. “That is exactly what I'm going to do” She growled and lunged forward, throwing a flying kick that hit him square in the chest. He stumbled and fell. Another grabbed her wrist. She twisted out of his grip and jabbed her elbow backwards, hitting him in the ribs. He staggered back several steps, his eyes wide with pain. The third pulled out a small knife, flashing it forward. The moonlight reflecting off the steel. She chuckled, shaking her head. “You think that is going to scare me?”

This was going to hurt. I mentally prepared myself for everything, from being ridiculed, humiliated, scolded, and even slapped for talking nonsense, but what Conrad did caused me to gasp and gaze at him in shock. He swiftly turned the chair, unhooked my fingers from the seat, brought them to his lips, and kissed every knuckle tenderly.

Glass fractured instantly, spiderweb cracks spreading before pieces shattered and fell, scattering across the floor. Pain shot through his knuckles, sharp and immediate, but Kane barely reacted. Blood dripped freely now, streaking down his hand, hitting the concrete in slow, steady drops. His breathing turned rough, uneven, his shoulders tight, every muscle coiled like he was still in the ring. Then— A knock. Soft. Out of place. Kane froze. For a second, the room went completely still. Then he moved. Fast. He yanked the door open, his body already braced, ready to tear into whoever stood on the other side.

I shout, nearly shrieking as his claws nears my neck. "Well that's too bad," He grumbles in response, falling silent as his claws reach the skin of my neck. Scared, I shut my eyes tightly, my shoulders quaking with fear and my lips trembling. What the hell have I gotten myself into?

I called and he halted his steps immediately, tilting his head to look at me. "Could you get the nurse to come here and treat these knuckles, please," I said and he nodded his head, bowing before he left the room. As soon as he was out, many thoughts began to rush into my head and then I realized how dangerous it was for me to be alone inside the room. I paced around hastily waiting patiently for the nurse to arrive. After a while, a knock came on the door and I quickly halted my steps, tilting my head to look at the doorknob.

Sky asked, voice shaky. I tried to explain, stumbling over each word. "It's Burk. He's here. He's telling me I'm going to hurt them. That I'm a danger to everyone." Knox stepped forward. "Kael, it's just in your head. You're not going to hurt anyone." But as I spoke, a vision of myself attacking the twins flashed before my eyes. I saw myself gripping Nola and Huck, their faces twisted in pain. The horror made me gasp, pulling away abruptly and stumbling out of the room.

And Brandon begins to see the claws coming directly to his eyes, and this put a huge amount of fear in his body as he begins to scream very loud. "No no no, stop it! don't do that! don't do that....!" Brandon was screaming very loud as Kamdiri's claws keeps heading towards his eyes.

His hazel eyes were showing rage in it. "Don't you dare even go closer to any man next time like this, other wise this time I have just bruised it, next time I will fucking break it.... understood?" And I quickly nodded. I know he was talking about my hand. He has bruised it and next time he will break it. He then moved back and I sighed in relief. Wait... why is it like this? Why am I scared? Did I do anything wrong? No right? I stood up and grabbed his hand this time from my other one and turned him around. He looked at me but didn't say anything which gave me some courage.

The part that burns the fuck up if someone were to be watching me. I'd been licking the tree sap from my hands before turning slowly to peer into the dark foliage as a heavily-furred squirrel scuttled past. “Fucking Lycan has me scared of damn chipmunks.” I cursed to myself, rolling my eyes to the back of their sockets before a clubbed claw shot out, gripping my neck and choking the scream from my throat. “Stop!” I squealed, knocking a hand against the matted fur as dollops of fear pressed into my spine and my vision blurred slightly at the edges.

He called me and left me messages. He made me an icepack for my ankle and stopped me from falling. I feel in a lump in my throat and I’m so scared it might turn into stupid tears that I pretend it’s a cough. Kennedy gets me a glass of water and that only makes it worse. He’s about to step back to the pan when my hand moves on its own. I watch my fingers clasp around his wrist, and he freezes dead. He doesn’t even breathe. I’d feel it on my face if he did.
