The contrast was too much. “You’re literally not scared of blood, knives, or hitting someone, but you’re scared of this? A shot?” He gave me a look, almost embarrassed, which only made me laugh harder. “I can’t believe this,” I said, shaking my head, still grinning. “You, the big, bad Kade, are really scared of tiny little needles?” “I am not scared,” he repeated, crossing his arms like a sulking teenager. “Okay,” I said, holding up the syringe again, “then sit down. Let’s see.”

Walter Hallas, a 26-year-old store clerk in Leeds, England, was so afraid of dentists that in 1979 he asked a friend to try to cure his toothache by knocking out the offending molar with a punch to the jaw. The punch caused him to fall down, hitting his hard, and he died of a fractured skull. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon.

I looked up at him, sitting across from me, his hands rubbing on his legs, up to his face, then through his hair and back down to his legs, repeating the process over and over again. His eyes finally met mine. *I’m fucking scared, Kellen. I have never been so scared in my life.* He said through the link, knowing I wouldn’t hear him under the whooshing of the blades. I knew what he meant, he was scared of what we would find when we got there. *Me too, brother, me too.* I sighed back. What else do you say? There were no words.

Placing my hand gently over his shoulder, I spoke in a reassuring tone. "Calm down, Vincenzo. Why are you so scared of it? Nothing will happen to you. I'm here, and I'll take care of it." He remained adamant, continuing to shout, "Just throw it out!" His eyes were tightly shut, and he turned away, unable to bear even the sight of the cockroach. It was evident that Vincenzo had a severe phobia, and the fear was taking a toll on him. Goosebumps covered his skin, and his body still trembled from the overwhelming anxiety.

EMBER’S POV A scream rips out of my throat before I can stop it. I flinch violently backwards, clutching the towel to my chest, my wet shoulders hitting the tile. Knox goes from relaxed to instantly, terrifyingly lethal in a millisecond. A deafening, inhuman snarl tears out of him as he shoves me firmly behind his massive back. His muscles lock tight, his claws already tearing through his fingertips, ready to slaughter whoever is standing on the other side of that wood.

A small cry left me as I realized I'd just dislocated my knuckle punching him. "STOP!" He growled, roughly grabbing my wrists and pinning them above my head, causing my body to be completely open, if it wasn't for the dress I'd be totally exposed. "You are MINE!" I wiggled and kicked, panic was taking over my entire form the more he yelled.

I feel so tensed and scared like I have never been in the whole 22 years of my life. As if the devil is playing a game with us and wants our hearts to leave our bodies, the handle of the front door shakes. Then there is a knock. I stopped breathing. So does Kelly. She’s staring at me, eyes wide. We are too shocked to even run or hide.

It is right in the middle of the wall, shaking my head, I extend my hand to hold the knob, only to stop midway. I look at my hand hanging in the air, only a few inches away from the knob, shaking uncontrollably, for I feel this sudden painful coldness creeping up my arm, and the once muffled voices are now clearer, I recognize the screams, the cries for help, the begging, the groans, and the terrifying growls of threat…

Furiously, she was moving her arms while she said, irritated, "Why the heck is it not working?" On seeing Skyla not obeying the orders, the man couldn't help but throw back his head with his eyes forcibly squeezing shut as he whimpered, "Arghh! Stop it! You are hurting yourself by doing that!" But Skyla wasn't scared of his anger! All she was scared of was his life being driven close to death. While Skyla kept on carrying that fake technique with desperation, her eyes accidentally dropped from the thorns to his body. Skyla's mouth fell agape and she sucked in some breath out of terror when saw the man's body.

My scared heart was beating in my ears upon recalling all that. “Do you remember the guy who got scared when you threatened to break his bones?” I looked at Zuhan and subconsciously grabbed his shirt. Pulling him closer I totally forgot what I was doing. “He saw my face and filmed it, that guy knows and might have the recording too.” Oh my goodness!
