"Kofi, stop being so aggressive. You are showing your teeth in the master's den." Kofi ignores her, stepping toward the wheelchair by the window and bowing his head low. "Greetings, Master Kael. I am honored to finally stand in your presence." Kael Adebayo doesn't even shift his weight. He stares out at the dark treeline of his territory, his presence massive and suffocating, radiating an absolute hatred for noise and uninvited guests. He hasn't even been down to feed with the pack in months. He cuts his golden eyes toward the couple, his voice a low, dangerous rumble. "What are you doing in my quarters?"

She tugged her hands out of Dawn’s and set them alight. “One crispy Siren it is then”, the blackette said. ~0~ Couple hours later… Lena paced up and down near the tree where Bryce was killed. She stopped when the Siren appeared. “At last I get to meet Lena McKenzie”, she said as she sauntered up, hips swaying. “You know my name but I don’t know yours”, Lena said folding her arms “I suppose I could just call you crispy calamari”. Mikaela laughed “that’s really sweet, the little witch wants to burn me”, she said mockingly, slowly circling Lena.

She asked, her lower lip was now pressed on Jesse's cupid's bow - leaving him wanting for a kiss. His groomed mustache felt ticklish. "I guess I'll just say both," Jesse breathed, their gazes still locked together. "'Kay," she echoed. "K?" Jesse grinned as the realization struck him. "Is it K? Your name?" Cobalt blue nodded, her mouth curved into a beautiful smile. "K."

to row back to the shore, something happened beneath them. The boat began to rock vigorously. Startled, the twins grabbed the edge of the boat and looked at each other with scared, wide eyes. "What's going on? Todd!" Emily cried. As the swamp Waters around them began to wave back and forth Emily let go of the boat sides and flung her arms around her brother. Todd kept a firm grip on the sides of the boat and looked around bewildered. "I don't know Emily!" ODETTE After a close to eighteen-hour flight with two stops in between—one of which Gunnar had made, we landed in South Africa, in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. We were hauled up in a hotel room near the beach. The city we were staying in—from the little I had seen—was beautiful. Durban seemed to be filled with people of different races and ethnicity. It was different from what I had expected. Then again, I didn't know what to expect when Ace said we were going to a safe house. All I knew was that we wouldn't be staying at this hotel for very long.

I said with a laugh as worry lines creased his brow. We rode the Hipper, a superconducting levitation transporter that took city dwellers to and from the Drock, then proceeded onward to the edge of the ice lands. At speeds of over five hundred miles an hour, we passed computerized automotive harvesters and hovering seeding machines that dotted the landscape. Leaves as bright as jewels spun through the air in the Hipper’s wake. In the distance, the towering ice mountains stretched across the horizon. The ice lands covered two-thirds of our planet, sustaining a population of more than eighty million.

Kita leaned forward, putting her hands on the dashboard and looking out the windshield, noticing she could see the city of Seoul, Korea, from this vantage point. "Where are we?" She asked as her eyes continued to peer through the windshield. Kenneth looked over at Kita, noticing her expression of wonderment. "This is a special spot called the' Point.' I come with a lot on my mind and want to escape reality. Isn't it beautiful?" "Yes, quite beautiful," Kita replied, amazed at the glittering lights that twinkled like the stars above. "Let's get out so you can see its beauty," Kenneth suggested. Kenneth opened his car door to assist Kita and walked around to the other side. He reaches for her h

Dimitri stressed. “I mean which city, country?” Kira asked. The water was mesmerizing blue and it was sparkling clear. “Hermanus,” Dimitri informed. “What the heck is Hermanus?” Kira demanded. “A town at the southern coast of western cape,” Dimitri informed. “We are not too far away from Cape Town, you know. You were out of it, else you would have enjoyed the scenic drive.” “Cape Town!” Kira shrieked, “as in South Africa!”
