*Third POV* “See I will tell you everything about the basement and other stuff as we have a lot to talk about. First, why not he have our breakfast. I dont want it to end with the quarrel and you once again avoid eating” Takeshi smiles placing his hand upon Koishi’s only made him take his hand back the next second. “Okay” Koishi smiles as he avoids looking at Takeshi not noticing the sudden change of expression over his face. “Let's get started with it” Takeshi smiles looking down at his plate as Koishi first takes the cup of coffee recognizing his own cup which has his favourite anime character Gojo Saturo from Jujutsu Kaisen upon it.

Who would be calling on us this late at night; and unannounced? I dabbed at my lips and waited with the others. Monica returned with two sharp-dressed men. The smaller of the two eyed me with interest. He wore a milk white wool overcoat and an expensive white suit. He was sharp with his slicked black hair and goatee. He also happened to be a powerful Vampire. The taller one was obviously the muscle. He watched us all coolly. "Kim, Se?or Marcelle De La Torre, and his Assistant Paolo," Monica said.

I move closer to Kodiak who whimpers and shuffles closer until her nose touches Rosa’s foot. “Rosa, I’m sorry I scared you.” Kodiak rumbles as she looks at her distressed pup. I clutch Rosa tighter as she moves her head and looks at Kodiak. I see her eyes flash to white, then back to green. I move to my bum with Rosa in my lap as she looks at Kodiak.

‘She could be identical to my mother Visenna if not for the fading scar in her neck…’ Rozelyn thought. The woman tightened her black choker that has triquetra as its lavaliere before speaking, “I am Rosette Richards. The supreme of the English coven.” She then extended her right hand for a gesture of a handshake—a respectful way of introducing one’s self to a fellow vampire.

“He was surprised to see Nadi with me.” Rosa did not reply immediately. The sound of leaves being plucked was joined by the popping sounds of the rice cooker as the heater started to boil the water. “Do you like wine, Flora?” Rosa asked all of a sudden, breaking her silence. Flora shook her head. “No, I don’t, Ma’am. Alcoholic drinks tend to make me red in the face and I get dizzy all of a sudden,” Flora replied although she could not see why Rosa asked her the question.

When Cassandra looked around, she saw that they were only three remained in the ring. Two werewolves and one vampire. Slowly, she walked towards them. The black wolf glanced at her and nodded his head, which Cassandra did the same. They started circling their prey. With the black wolf's signal, they attacked the vampire. Cassandra jumped on his right while the black one jumped on his left. She got punched, but the vampire couldn't dodge the black wolf's bite. It gave him a fatal blow. The vampire tried to stand, but he had no strength left. Slowly the mark disappear

Closing my eyes, I mulled over all the thoughts in my brain as one hit me hard, making me open my eyes and gasp out loud. The First Vampire! But... this doesn't make sense... How can there be a portrait of me and Eleanor and Danielle with the name of Cassian... The First Vampire King? The hell is going on!? Unless... Did Cassian look like me!? But, history records don't hold a portrait of Cassian as he burned them all down after his wife left The Empire and went to the Black Woods. And, the two never returned either. So... then, WHAT THE HELL ARE MY EYES WITNESSING!?

“Black roses are not a good option…” “I know.” He cut me off. “Anything else?” I scoffed. Dude got some mental issues. It wouldn’t take minutes to give a pleasant smile at least. I put the bouquet on the table and turned around to leave but a strand of my hair got stuck to his button which resulted in an awkward situation between us. Unlike the romance movies that I saw, he wasn’t making it a romantic moment but gave me horror vibes as he started to pull his shirt that burned my scalp.
