Xavier felt his heart chime as he turns to the already watery eyes of Xeelany ake pulled her into a hug. “Thank you so much, Aaron.” he bows and Aaron let out a smile, that held happiness yet a stern of guilt could be recognized. Xeelany does the same and they greeted Alexia too. They turned to the king who looked really furious then bowed their head to him, even though they both knew that he wasn't going to respond to them. they both seek Alexia and Aaron’s blessing before moving away, heading back to their chambers, Xavier's chamber, which they might be sharing really soon.

79 Writer's pov Xander's mansion...! "Connor, get out of my way!" Xander growls. Connor shakes his head and blocks the door, he's under strict order from the king not to let Xander out... No matter what. "I need to find my mate!" "Alpha, his Majesty has sent trackers already" Xander scoffs. "Nobody knows my mate's scent better than I" Connor still doesn't let Xander through...he wanted to force his way out, but that will just put Connor in a difficult situation with the king.

Unknown’s POV The fire crackled in the hearth of the Bear King’s war room, casting long shadows across the stone walls. Viktor stood alone, his massive frame silhouetted against the flickering flames, the weight of the news he had just received pressing down on him like a crushing boulder. His hands were trembling, a rare occurrence for the Bear King, but it was impossible to stop. The betrayal of Quincy Otto had shattered something deep inside him—a trust that had been formed over years of manipulation, a promise of cooperation that had now turned into nothing but ashes.

The concubine turned to the King, voice breaking. “He’ll die before the thousand are finished… please stop…” But Xavier didn’t beg. Didn’t cry. Didn’t plead. Another lash tore through his back. This time—a sound escaped. A gasp. Guttural. Shattering. Even the cruelest generals looked away. Xavier’s lips parted. Blood dripped from his chin. His body convulsed with pain. And still— He looked at Raphael. Not with rage. With ownership. And Raphael? Something twisted in his chest.

His hair was on the longer side and he walked in with the undeniable majestiscity of a king, making me shudder in wonder of how in the world killers could be like this. "I heard you are being stubborn and disobedient, Astra." He mentioned my name and I felt a strange palpitation in my chest. "Keep... Keep my name out of your mouth!" My voice trembled. "Hmm" It was deep as he walked in further, approaching me while I leaned against the wall desperately, trying to get into it if possible. "I do like your name though and I do not intend on getting it out of my mouth very soon too, Astra." He emphasised on the name as he got super close to me.

"The great Alpha King will finally meet us in person Xander did you hear what Prince Vincent said? Aren't you happy? He is the savior of all regions and he rules all the Alpha in the world!" I cleared my throat as the happiness in Xander's mother became unnecessary for me. Maleficus stood beside me and opened his mouth to speak. "Are you coming in with us your majesty or are you heading back to the guest house." I took a deep breath in, it feels like Maleficus knows what I'm thinking. "Please make them feel comfortable in the chambers provided for them Maleficus, I have something to do first."

I folded my arms, trying to steady myself, heart hammering as his eyes flicked toward me just as the guard stepped back. “Ma’am, let’s go. The boss has arrived,” the guard said, calm but firm. My knees trembled as I lifted my gaze. “Who… who is he? Is he…?” I whispered, dread coiling tight in my chest, when suddenly his height felt strangely familiar. “Yes, ma’am. Mr. Evan Grant, our king,” the guard replied. WHAT! This is the evil I’ve been defying? Slowly, I turned toward the car he had stepped out of, the same black shade and model that had vanished into the darkness that night.

He gets close to me and shifts his body weight to lean down towards me, and slowly he takes a good look at me and scoffs. His eyes are alluring, almost setting me in place. I want to look away, but I can’t. Clearly, he’s seeing me as something worthless. But yet I am seeing him as something—so much. “Your name?” He growls.. I find myself glancing at Luna Moria for help, but I am stuck when she gives a bitter, angry stare. I turn back to that Alpha King. "Star!" I reply. The moment I breathe out my name, he stops and gives me a look I can’t decipher. He gazes at me with a mild astonishment, a hint of confusion hinted across his features, but he immediately conceals his expression into neutral

“The King will die screaming when he comes. And Sophie will be returned to me. She is my blood, and I won't allow her to stay with anyone else.” I laughed. “She’d set herself on fire before coming back to you.” His jaw twitched. Good. Let him burn with that rage. It was all I had left to fight with. I leaned forward until the chains creaked, lowering my voice like we were swapping secrets. “She follows Xavier now, our Wolf King, not some crazy washed-up old Hunter. Looks like Miss America here wants a piece of the Wolf King, too. He’s virile, not an old impotent man.”
