My own profile had a picture of me shirtless and showing half of my face, with a couple of small moles next to my eyebrow that guys might be able to use as an identifier. It hadn't worked yet, but I left that as my main picture just in case it could happen someday.

Nova’s POV When we pull into the restaurant after Axel is done with his explanation more images flash through my mind but this time they aren’t about Kristy they are about a man I’ve seen him before he isn’t a wolf but he isn’t human so he is either a witch or vampire but his face is hazy like smoke. I try to shake the image from my head and out on my best act. When we go inside to eat the waitress immediately swoons from seeing Axel. He doesn’t look impressed at all and just rolls his eyes.

The other day, he had pieced it all together (social media wasn't his thing:⁠,⁠-⁠). He created a fake username. Does captainZ_1001 count? Her profile was the first that appeared on his feed. Photos of her having fun with her friends, photos of her body wrapped against a tiny girl, they both grinned in the photo, and for a second, he wondered who the little girl was.

I haven't gotten the well deserved sleep I need. I pulled my phone out and logged into kik. I quickly searched for his username there and instantly noticed that his display photo was a black grand piano. I sighed looking at it, I was expecting his display photo was a picture of himself. At least I'd know how he looks like. Then I stared at my own display photo which was a picture of me. I think it's unfair if he'll see my face and I won't see his. So I hurriedly changed my display photo into a picture of a cute kitten.

As the search was about to come to an end, he quickly returned his focus to the laptop again. Zayne walked to his working desk and placed the phone on the table. He looked at the profile picture of the person on Messenger, which was a picture of a wooden sword. The person seemed to love wooden swords. He quickly clicked into the man’s F******k profile and immediately saw a link that would bring the viewer to motivational pages. Zayne’s expression slightly changed because after perusing the entire profile, he could not locate any pictures whatsoever. His face darkened. I was so taken by a kid younger than me. I smiled at a picture that I took while she was eating on the couch before she left. My breath caught as I typed his name into the search bar: Professor Black. His account was private, but his profile picture…God, that picture was enough to undo me. His face was in profile, strong jawline catching the light. The first two buttons of his shirt undone, revealing just enough of his chest.
