L Profile Picture Novels & Stories

Then I browse a popular social media site to look up Neville Campbell, the guy who somehow made my stomach twist with something I haven’t known since I have met him. I open the discovery tool on the same site and type out his name. I click on the first link, and it takes me to his profile set on public. The profile picture is a nice picture of him dressed in a black tux with his hair nicely combed back. For a fact, I can trust that it’s him. There are plenty of pictures posted on his page from his travels around the world. The first picture that pops up takes my breath away when I scroll on the screen.

Then an idea pops into my head. I*******m. Of course. I quickly open the app and type his name. Lucas Santis. A profile pops up almost immediately, and I tap on it. There he is….profile picture and all. Stephanie scoots closer and leans over my shoulder. “Oh he’s cute,” she says. I ignore her. My eyes scan his bio, and I see that he's a photographer. Interesting. I also see a few portfolio highlights. Then I see it….A phone number.

My profile showed that my current follower count was in the millions. Time to give my fans a glimpse of my life. I selected a few of my favorite photos of Liz that I had captured during our time together. The caption read: I’m grateful to be reunited with the woman who has held my heart since our freshman year of college. I wonder if Lizzy has an account. While searching for her name, I found an account marked private. The profile picture was one of Liz with her father. I immediately sent a follow request. We might as well make our relationship I*******m official.

She already had Sharon as a friend, and she’d be able to know if they had ‘friended’ each other. She found him easily from Sharon’s profile. There was a picture of them together on his last birthday, and he was tagged. She clicked on his profile. His main picture was of him in a pub somewhere, about to drink what looked like a Jager bomb. His cover picture was him and a group of friends, again at a bar. They all looked half-cut, and very young. She couldn’t see a lot of his profile because she wasn’t his ‘friend’, but he was tagged in other peoples posts that were set as ‘public’.

Some have profile photos and others are simply left blank. "Where's his account?" I asked, without looking at Beta Luke. I saw Beta Luke's hand pointing to an account that came from the second list. The account has a profile photo in the form of a cartoon. Actually I'm not sure if it's Levin Gaillard's account. I clicked on it and it showed me a social media account that didn't have much information posted on it. There are only two photos uploaded, one photo as a new profile photo which is a picture of a character in a cartoon and the other photo is a picture of a person.

Xavia could not help but scroll to the top as she clicked on his profile picture. It was a regular photo that was similar to a passport photo. He was wearing a white shirt, and he had neat and short hair. He looked incomparably distinct and manly, with clear and upright eyes.

"Are you guys actually together now, or are you just chasing her?" Their words were picking me apart, making me feel like an absolute fool. "It was a brand photoshoot," I grunted, trying to sound indifferent. "I posted it to promote the line." "Yeah, but you made it your profile picture," Liam pointed out with a light chuckle, sinking deeper into the cushions. "Don't cover it up, man. You're starving for her attention, which isn't like you at all. Don't tell me you're actually falling for her."
