The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

*Oh Goddess* Trevor glared at me as he stepped back away from us, I could see the veins in his forehead ready to pop. He gave a crooked smirk and waved his hand to his shoulder again. The wall lit up in little white lights. I could hear a muffled hum sound as my skin was crawling with sparks. I looked around and realised the hunters had unleashed their full fire power on my force field. Not a single bullet broke through, it was impenetrable. I locked my eyes back on Trevor and watched as he slowly stalked along behind his men, stopping in front of the kneeling fighters. Oh god the fighters, they weren’t shielded.

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

This book was so well written! it caught my attention from the start and kept me hooked continuously! Some parts got confusing during the 2 POVs when something happened in 1 but not the other. If this was published on paper I'd buy it. What a fantastic read ! well done ! Im off to read part 2 ☺️

My 33 Humiliations

My 33 Humiliations

Now, for the one divorce that truly mattered, he arrived punctually. When Benedict saw me, he stepped toward me. “I’ve thought about many things over the past three days. Perhaps we haven’t reached the end yet. “I finally understand what it feels like to lose the person you love. “I could never betray you again. It’s unbearable.” For three full years, Benedict had never once repented. Were three days truly enough to grant him such an awakening? I smiled bitterly and shook my head. “Benedict, over the past few years, I gave you thirty-three chances.

Four Heirs Claimed On My Babies

Four Heirs Claimed On My Babies

I heard the shouts of the guards as they organized their next move, and I knew we had to act fast. With a quick glance back to Luca, I noticed he was still firing, keeping the guards occupied. “Luca! Are you good to move?” He grimaced but nodded, his determination shining through the pain. “Yeah, let’s push through.” “Alright,” I replied, standing up cautiously from behind the crate. “On three, we make a run for it.” He nodded, his eyes locked on mine. “One... two...” Just as we reached three, the door burst open again, and a fresh wave of guards flooded into the room. They were met with a hail of bullets from Luca, who stood his ground despite his injury.

The Alpha King's Shadow

Don't touch her. He took a step. Then another. The barrier crackled. He put his hand on it. His skin burned. He ignored the pain. He raised his other hand. He pushed. The barrier strained, cracking. The circle flickered. I couldn't see straight. Aurek—stop—you'll die— He looked at me. Something dark settled in his eyes. Then I die with you. Before I could say anything— The barrier shattered. Light flashed. Chains broke. The floor split.

Falling for the Locked-up Alpha

Falling for the Locked-up Alpha

Guerra yelled angrily. Faricenda chuckled slowly, wriggling her hands in the rope that was already getting lose. "You just gave me three reasons and they are all pathetic to my hearing. You are only angry because no one has ever done that before, am I right?" She asked and Guerra's cheeks rose with anger.

THE ALPHA'S ASSASSIN MATE

Third person limited (Serna's eyes) Ironfang courtyard, noon the day after Tarian died "Bring them OUT." Serna's voice echoed off stone, loud enough that people three buildings over probably heard it. The three officers stumbled forward with Rhea's knife at their backs, hands bound with leather cord that cut into their wrists. Captain Ferris, Lieutenant Donal, some third guy whose name Serna hadn't bothered learning. "This is MADNESS, you can't just—" Ferris tried to pull away but Rhea kicked his knee sideways and he went down hard.

War of Threes

War of Threes

“A war of threes. Three deaths. Three victories. Three trios. Three losses. Betrayal. Birth. Death. Sorrow. Joy. Warn them, Meredith. Be prepared!” I jolt awake, sitting up and gasping. Instantly, Hakeem and Gael sit up. Gael lets out a growl, getting in a defensive position. Hakeem pushes me behind him, protecting me with his body. Hakeem looks at me out of the corner of his eye while still scanning the room. “What is it, Merry? What’s wrong?” Still breathing heavily, I pant out, “I had a vision from the Goddess!” _________________________________________

A Deal with Desire

A Deal with Desire

Chapter 33: A Desperate Touch Evie's heart hammered a frantic tattoo against her ribs as the colossal entity's shadow loomed over her. Its massive, shadowy hand, dripping with a viscous darkness, seemed to stretch towards her with agonizing slowness. The weight of her decision pressed down on her like a physical burden – a desperate gamble that could either save Aethel or unleash a cataclysmic chain reaction. Across the battlefield, Elara's form flickered, her last reserves of energy spent holding back the monstrous creatures. Liam stood frozen, a flicker of recognition warring with the malevolent red glow in his eyes.

Mga Madalas Itanong

The ending of 'El Despertar de una Luna Guerrera' is this beautiful, bittersweet crescendo where the protagonist, after years of struggle, finally embraces her dual identity as both warrior and peacemaker. The final battle isn’t just physical—it’s this internal clash where she confronts the trauma that made her a fighter in the first place. The symbolism of the moon, which has been a recurring motif, reaches its peak here; she realizes her strength doesn’t come from vengeance but from protecting others.

What really got me was the epilogue. It’s not a tidy 'happily ever after'—she’s scarred, physically and emotionally, but there’s hope. The last scene shows her teaching a new generation, passing on her skills but also her hard-won wisdom. It’s cyclical, you know? The moon waxes and wanes, but it always returns. That’s the vibe the ending leaves you with—resilience isn’t about winning forever; it’s about continuing.
