The Missing Luna

The Missing Luna

I can feel his genuine concern for my well-being, making me feel loved and wanted. We stayed in that position for a long time until I felt so much better that I distanced myself from his embrace and looked into his eyes. "Where are the rodents?" I asked. "Gone like the wind. They left no trace behind," Alex replied with a sigh. "I see." Then I remembered what I saw before I passed out. "I saw the rats vanish into thin air the moment they hit the walls, leaving black smoke behind them. What kind of rats are they?" I asked, confused, because I had never seen such a mind-blowing spectacle before.

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

I kick it back into the corridor—explosion muffled by the door. 98%… The wipe finishes. I yank the USB. Smash the terminal screen with my elbow. “Data’s gone,” I say into comms. “Prototypes next.” I grab a fire extinguisher from the wall—swing hard. Glove box glass shatters. Vials tumble—blue liquid spreading across the floor. I fire three rounds into the puddle—igniting the accelerant we brought. Blue flames bloom—chemical, hungry. “Lab’s burning,” I say. “Exfil now.”

The Alpha’s Forbidden Luna

The Alpha’s Forbidden Luna

Kael Standing at the head of the long steel table in the heart of my underground laboratory, with the hum of refrigeration units and the scent of chemicals filling the air. The walls were lined with reinforced glass cases holding rows of glowing vials, my life’s work, the serum that would turn ordinary blood into something unstoppable. Dr. Lira Voss, the same woman who had overseen Lizabella’s treatment, leaned over a holographic display, as three other lead scientists flanked her, tablets in hand, faces illuminated by the blue glow of data streams.

The Unspoken Accord

The Unspoken Accord

It led not up, but down, deep into the building’s bowels. The lower level was a revelation. It was the building’s skeleton, damp concrete, snaking pipes, the groan of distant machinery, but it had been modified. New conduits ran along the ceiling. Small cameras, their red LEDs like watching insect eyes, tracked their progress from corners. As they moved down a narrow corridor, a calm, digital voice issued from a hidden speaker. “Variable pair demonstrates cohesive movement. Stress response elevated. Proceed to evaluation chamber one.” They were rats in a maze, and the scientist was narrating their run.

The rogue heir’s redemption

The rogue heir’s redemption

I've tried all sorts of creams and herbs, but it just isn't working. After mixing the whole thing, I watch the whole thing come to a perfect blend. I grab my two test rats from their cages. "I'm so sorry, guys, but I really need your help," I smile apologetically. Hesitated before placing the poisoned cheese in the cage. What if they actually die before I could give them the cure but I brush the though away and get it to them anyway I watch as they rushed to take bites of it. It took less than three seconds for them to collapse.

The Dark Alpha's Pet

The Dark Alpha's Pet

“True, but like chickenpox, we would give a watered-down version to werewolves at strategic points in their lives. 1 year, 5 years, 13 years, when they shift at 18, and so on. The body will naturally build up a tolerance.” “Have you tested this theory on anyone yet?” Hunter asks. “My alpha wouldn’t let me test it on any warriors, but my lab partner and I did perform a couple of experiments on some lab rats on a smaller scale.” I say shyly. “And how did that go?” Hunter asks. I sigh. “Due to the molecular structure of the rats being different than werewolves, it didn’t affect them like it should have. Rats aren’t wolves. So, we had some anomalies in our numbers.”

This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN BRIDE: Reborn for Revenge

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN BRIDE: Reborn for Revenge

The legacy of Valerius was destroyed forever tonight. Several hours later, as the sun began to rise over the horizon of the Isle of Skye, Mavric and Liora stood at the edge of a high cliff, gazing out across the vast, sparkling ocean. The laboratory hidden deep beneath their feet had been permanently sealed with liquid concrete by Sebastian’s team. “It is finally over, Mavric,” Liora said, breathing in the fresh air that no longer smelled of harsh antiseptic or ozone. “Not quite yet,” Mavric replied softly. He pulled out a small legal document from his pocket.

Love In The Game

Love In The Game

Claire covered her nose and winced when she saw that the rats in their cage had rot. "Geez ... Sorry. The rats are my lab rats that I put in the game so that their bodies are in a coma. But they don't use IVs. I should have freed them from the game, but you know, I was kidnapped myself,” Leon replied. "This is what will happen to us, if they stop giving the IV supplies," Claire replied. "They intend to do it," said Leon. Reminiscing about what happened at the Hades level that day. If only Claire didn't suddenly escape the game, they would slowly die in pain. Stuck forever.

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

“Dr. Russell, all your lab mice have indeed died of an unknown cause as of now. As for the videos you provided, they only serve as a reference, as we still can’t determine their authenticity. “This is a serious matter, whether it was you who made a mistake or someone else sabotaged the experiment. Therefore, before we get to the bottom of what happened, you and Dr. Stone can no longer work in the lab.” “What the....” A commotion broke out. “So what Dr. Blanc is saying is that both Dashiell and Lily would have to be contained?” “Dr. Blanc,” Lily slowly said, “I have no objections.” “Dr. Blanc…” Dashiell wanted to say something, but hearing her calm reply, he could not finish what he wanted to

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Falling For My Ex’s Brother-In-Law

Falling For My Ex’s Brother-In-Law

A noise report. My jaw tightened. I felt it then…heat crawling up my neck, rage licking at my control. “There’s nothing down there for you,” I said evenly. “The basement houses laboratory specimens. I have permits.” “Specimens?” he echoed. “Yes,” I replied without missing a beat. “Genetically sensitive laboratory rats. A special breed. Highly reactive. Harmful if mishandled.” It wasn’t even a lie. Not entirely. The officer didn’t look convinced. “I’ll need to verify that,” he said, stepping closer. “Unlock the door.”
