Ex-Husband, You Don't Own me

Ex-Husband, You Don't Own me

Luke’s wife had been accused of theft. They would search her bag publicly! This line alone was enough to pique curiosity. The wealthy woman acted with great caution. She even wore white silk gloves to avoid scratching the expensive bag. All the attendees were rich and influential figures in the city. However, few of them could afford to carry a bag worth more than $150,000 so casually. The crowd watched. First, she took out a tissue paper packet from the bag. Then, a baby bottle. Huh?!

Plot is good but the Author is lazy. Incorrect allocation of pronouns, reader ends up paying twice for a chapter 16 and 17 exactly the same), re-use of sentences scattered throughout the chapters and book, etc.

Too bad the translation of this asian novel is messed up and the pronouns are mixed up constantly. The story is difficult to follow because of these faults. Too bad, it was interesting at first but I'm quitting. This app should really do something about the quality of some of these stories.

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

"Abby—Abigail Norton! How can you be like this? Give me the money! You're just jealous of me, aren't you? You're happy now that I've fallen so low!" … As night fell, Ingrid wandered the streets, exhausted and hungry. She passed by a nightclub, its front entrance glittering with gold and lights, while a small side door led out to the street. It was a place where men and women came and went. The men were fat and slovenly, while the women wore skimpy outfits, flaunting their bodies. But upon closer inspection… All of these women carried designer bags, from LV to Gucci… Their clothes ranged from the thousands to tens of thousands in price.

THE LYCAN KING’S SECOND CHANCE MATE

THE LYCAN KING’S SECOND CHANCE MATE

I didn't even look at the dress because I was so upset that Lizzy was insistent on me wearing it. “Haven't you?” Her voice is masked with disbelief. I shriek in fright when I feel her fingers dig into the split. My eyes widen when I realise what it is. It's not a split, but a pocket. A real tiny pocket that's easy to miss. With my heart in my throat, I watch the woman pull out a tiny black plastic bag from the pocket and plants her gaze on me. “What's this?” She asks, bringing the plastic up to my face so I can get a proper view of it.

The Lady Under The Mask

The Lady Under The Mask

" When I asked, he smirked. He looked like someone who could kill her in the next second. TWO YEARS LATER I smiled as I slowly stepped out of the car; there were a slew of directors waiting for her, including the CEOs of small businesses who all wanted to collaborate with me. The powerful Miss Eleanor, the image I made for myself solely to exact revenge on him. Only a few people have seen my face, but all have felt my wealth. Only a few people will see my face before I exact my revenge. I was wearing a mask on my face and an umbrella over my head. At the time, I was the wealthiest person in town, and only a few people had seen my face.

Standing before love

Standing before love

“This size is too small.” Her hands quivered as she clenched her teeth in annoyance. Suddenly, she tossed the two black pairs of underwear aside and grabbed two pink ones instead. She turned back around to the shopkeeper with a different expression and said, “These two. Pack them up for me, please.” Clearly, she had not brought that much money out with her. Without putting much thought into it, she turned around and pulled out the wallet she saw Tony put in his suit pocket earlier. Opening the black wallet, she took out a gold card and handed it over to the shopkeeper.

DANGEROUS ADDICTION: In Love With My Stepbrother

DANGEROUS ADDICTION: In Love With My Stepbrother

Then, in the third drawer, I saw scarves, sunglasses, and a leather journal. My fingers trembled as I opened it. Briar's handwriting covered the first few pages. Shopping lists. Appointment reminders. I shoved the journal back, not bothering to position it exactly right. The closet was next. I pulled clothes aside and checked the pockets. A gas receipt. Gum wrappers. Seventy-three cents in change. Behind the hanging dresses, shoe boxes were stacked three high. I pulled them down one by one. Jimmy Choo's and Louboutin. The third box was brown and generic with no label. I opened it. It was a box of tampons.

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

Aren't those models used in the lower classes…? …They even had their stolen weapons. This girl must've carried one with her as well. I better remove it from her before she had the chance to shoot me. "Now, where's yours…" I murmured while fumbling with her jacket with my left hand. "Might as well let me see your pretty face later…" "K-Kyaa…!? W-Where are you touching…!?" There's nothing in her chest pocket and both of her waist pockets. I fumbled around her jeans— there weren't any on her buttocks and left pocket. I couldn't reach her jeans' front right side pocket because my hand wasn't long enough.

the lady smiled as she saw me. “Magical pocket? Is that what the power is called? Never gave it a name. And why is Caroline a princess if she is not mated to the king?” I do not understand why she has that title. The lady wanted to answer my question but I could tell she couldn’t since her mouth closed again.

Wild Desire

Wild Desire

The bag was open, and it fell on to its side, spilling its contents all over the floor. ‘Bugger.’ Kate scrambled to the floor and started picking up all her personal, essential items. She did so with some embarrassment. Men, she thought, didn’t have this problem. Men didn’t need lipstick, make-up, combs and all the other paraphernalia requisite to being a woman. Mind you, she reflected, how many women needed three lipsticks, several toffees, old eyeliner pencils, loose change in several currencies, and several loose business cards? Certain that Robert, on the phone at the desk next to her, was silently laughing at her, she blushed and swore that tomorrow she would buy a new bag. A smaller on
