Blue Thread, Silver Scales

Blue Thread, Silver Scales

Oh. I looked down at the book. Lady Elianor and Lord Carad existed somewhere inside it, married and probably still arguing. Lady Rosamund had been waiting for me on a shelf yesterday. Now she was in my hands because General Aodren had remembered. “Thank you.” “You’re welcome.” I touched the cover once. Then again. I needed somewhere safe to put it. My bag was full enough to threaten corners. I kept the book on my lap. General Aodren watched this.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

“This is going to work, Puppy. I can feel it.” “Be careful, my love.” He tips her chin up with his finger and gives her a long kiss on the lips. “We’ll be waiting for you outside.” James exits the room while Leticia uses magic to remove the ceiling tiles. Lady Camille and Delilah begin their protective spells. Psyche, Eros, and Pan speak with Bronx while they wait. I stare at the cover of the leather book. It begs for mercy, knowing this could be its last few minutes of existence. A piece of me feels sorry for it. It makes sense I guess. I gave it life. Now I want to take that life away.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

Love Waits for No One

Love Waits for No One

Suddenly, all the questions she'd wanted to ask felt empty and pointless. Asking them now would only leave her feeling more humiliated. Soaked from the rain, Maude made her way home. Just as she stepped inside, a message from the HR officer lit up her phone. "Your flight is confirmed. Please proceed with the necessary preparations." Her departure date was two weeks away. It was on the day that should have been both her anniversary with Orson and their wedding day. Maude's eyes drifted to the calendar on the table. At the top was a note she'd written long ago.

The Whispers of my heart

The Whispers of my heart

His lashes long and dark against his cheeks, one tiny hand clutching the edge of her sleeve as if afraid to drift too far. Daniel sat on the floor beside her, back against the crib. His shoulder brushed her knee, and Theodore’s head rested against her chest as he floated between waking and dreams. In Sophia’s hands lay a book. Not just any book — their book. Handmade. Bound in soft leather. The title pressed in delicate gold script: The Girl Who Waited, and the Man Who Finally Found Her. She turned the first page and began to read, her voice warm and low, colored with memory.

From Nanny To Lady

From Nanny To Lady

I could feel Arthur's body tense up beside me even before I saw his facial expression turn angry. "Certain members can choose Lady from the outside," said Jack, showing off his silver-framed name tag. "Ah, because you failed to find a big opportunity, so you took advantage of such a small gap, that's right, Lady?" I replied, "And, Mr. Jack… indirectly you are enslaved by women, right?" "You-" As soon as Jack pointed, Arthur twisted his hand and winced. "BRO-STOP--!" "Wow, you're an interesting bitch," Theresa murmured as she finally stood close enough to speak directly to me. Her eyes swept over me from head to toe, then settled on my face with undisguised appraisal. "I guess you're not a we

Breeding the Surrogate

Breeding the Surrogate

“Liliana Vale?” Lili nodded. “Yes.” “You may have a seat. Someone will be with you shortly.” The waiting area was like something out of a luxury magazine. Deep navy velvet chairs, golden floor lamps, and thick books stacked artfully on low glass tables. No reception-room magazines here, just curated beauty. Lili perched on the edge of one of the chairs, legs crossed tightly at the ankles, trying not to wrinkle her skirt. She kept the folder in her lap like a shield.

The Marked Lady

The Marked Lady

With her wedding approaching, she became the center of attention. Whenever people spoke about me now, they simply shook their heads. “Lady Leanora… What a waste of her title as the Royal City’s finest noble lady.” “Exactly. She’s beautiful, elegant, educated, and skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. However, with a sister like that beside her, what can she offer?” One day, Rosalind cornered me in the study and pressed her hand down on my brush.

Marked by a Lycan

Marked by a Lycan

I joined the queue, my excitement mounting with each passing moment, as I inched closer to my turn. As I waited, I observed the individuals ahead of me, their expressions a mix of curiosity and wonder. It seemed that everyone held their own unique query, their own secret longing for knowledge. The library truly was a place where seekers of truth and adventure converged. Finally, it was my turn. I approached the counter where Ms. Paulina stood, her eyes bright with wisdom and a welcoming smile on her lips. “Greetings, fair Lady," she hailed, as though she had foreseen my arrival. "How may I lend my aid this day? What wonders doth thou seek within the pages of our vast collection?"
