My Sweet Lady

My Sweet Lady

It was the same exact design as ours; he hadn't even bothered to change the script. Everyone in the room seemed captivated by him. My assistant, Dennis Hart, had come with me. He was furious. "Mr. Miller, how can you be so calm? He copied us!" I patted him on the shoulder to calm him down. "Don't worry. I'll handle this." Thunderous applause erupted in the hall, accompanied by the sound of cameras clicking away. Satisfied with the response, Leo asked, "Any questions?" Silence fell over the room again. Leo nodded smugly and was just about to continue when I called out, "I have an objection!"

Little Bird

Little Bird

They scream in unison at the top of their lungs. My mother, myself and Ele look at each other with a smirk curling on the corner of our mouths, knowing that our kids are too smart to fall for Holdens’ one magic trick he shows them all the time to keep them entertained. I wave my hand, gesturing for them to follow me, and we sneak out the sliding door. We quickly walk across the paddock in our heels to where the newly built cabin sits. “Ugh!” Ele cries out, wobbling on her feet as she struggles to keep her composure. “I always forget to wear my gumboots when I come here.” She shrieks with irritation.

 Beauty and the Alpha

Beauty and the Alpha

Comes Bella's plaintive whine. “Aww.. please..” Adam hears Chad beg. “Fine. It is Bad Moon Rising by Credence Clearwater Revival.” Adam stops in his tracks, listening closely. He can hear the clanging of utensils dropping to the table and of Chad bouncing on his heels impatiently. “I know that one!” Chad shouts and Bella laughs. Adam resumes walking to the kitchen but stops in the doorway. He sees Bella at the counter, swaying her hips to some invisible music that only she hears as she spreads chocolate icing on the cake.

[ABO BL Anthology] Time Cross Academy

Klick was still recovering and Bruce was taking care of him so there was nobody around to disturb Syris and Floopy in the greenhouse. Nobody bothered them for cutting class either so they were able to make some progress for the musical that Amanda refused to cancel despite the poor response. They went through the songs that Floopy prepared and invited a few friends from the forest to help. “Alright, this part is the chorus. It’s going to be singing instead of rapping. The melody will sound something like this. In three, four!”

Lady Moonlight

Lady Moonlight

I took an empty chair and sat by the corner. The song started with Kenzo’s piano tune, which was different with what I heard the other day. Carson sang with only piano in the background. After the first verse, Jim played his drum in a slow beat, along with Philip’s melodious bass. Carson’s guitar followed shortly after. It was a ballad with medium tempo. It fitted Carson’s voice perfectly. I was enchanted and for a moment, I felt like he was singing to me. Sometimes, our eyes met and his smile grew even wider.

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

My ears drooped slightly, disappointed she’d ended the sweet serenade. “Oh, God,” Lilac whispered, covering her mouth, mortified. “I—I didn’t realize I was singing out loud. I’m sorry.” Makayla smiled gently, her voice warm and reassuring. “Don’t stop. You have a beautiful voice.” Lilac glanced shyly down, a hesitant smile returning. “I just...really love this song.” “Me too,” Makayla murmured warmly, shifting closer beneath the blanket. “It’s called ‘Moonlight Glow.’ The lead singer, Landon Bryant, is my mom’s cousin. I grew up hearing it.”

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

Dear Gangster

Dear Gangster

Lucy is quiet and just listens to the performing artists. Some played their music, while others were original compositions as well. Until one woman stood up to show off her talent. Lucifer is silent and listens to the melody of its song. He didn’t know why he was sad while listening to its instrumental. For a moment Lucifer opened his eyes and frowned. He did not think that he was carried away by the sadness of the music, from the talent brought by the girl in front of him.

Butterfly Lovers

Butterfly Lovers

At my grave, he reached out to touch the photo carved into my tombstone, his smile radiant, though his eyes brimmed with sorrow. "If only the old tales of lovers turning into butterflies were real," he murmured. And in that moment, I felt myself transform—my soul taking shape as a butterfly. I fluttered down, landing softly on his shoulder. He lifted a hand and brushed the edge of my fragile wings. A single tear fell from his eye. Then suddenly, blood spilled from his lips. He collapsed in front of my grave. Moments later, another butterfly appeared beside me. Together, we circled freely in the wind, then soared higher and higher, toward an endless horizon.

A Lady For Two

A Lady For Two

She said and smiled broadly. "Thanks girl. I love you." I said and winked at her. We went back to Tracy and Heedah assured Tracy that she was forgiven. At least now, we can say we have a Luna. Our Alpha now has a mate. "Muriel, our ears are itching to hear." Heedah said and smirked. Oh boy, I know that mischievous look. What is she up to now? "Hear what?." I asked in confusion. "Yeah, I'm lost too. What are our ears itching to hear Heedah?." Tracy asked, also in confusion.

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

THE HOSTAGE'S DILEMMA

She scrambles to the cupboard and disappears inside. To my astonishment, a familiar melody fills the small room. “Abracadabra, feel the beat under your feet, the floor is fire…” Mabel’s voice, slightly muffled by the cupboard door, sings along to Lady Gaga. A laugh bubbles up from my throat. Of all the songs…
