Adam resumes walking to the kitchen but stops in the doorway. He sees Bella at the counter, swaying her hips to some invisible music that only she hears as she spreads chocolate icing on the cake.

Klick was still recovering and Bruce was taking care of him so there was nobody around to disturb Syris and Floopy in the greenhouse. Nobody bothered them for cutting class either so they were able to make some progress for the musical that Amanda refused to cancel despite the poor response. I took an empty chair and sat by the corner. The song started with Kenzo’s piano tune, which was different with what I heard the other day. Carson sang with only piano in the background. After the first verse, Jim played his drum in a slow beat, along with Philip’s melodious bass. Carson’s guitar followed shortly after. It was a ballad with medium tempo. It fitted Carson’s voice perfectly. I was enchanted and for a moment, I felt like he was singing to me. Sometimes, our eyes met and his smile grew even wider.

My ears drooped slightly, disappointed she’d ended the sweet serenade. “Oh, God,” Lilac whispered, covering her mouth, mortified. “I—I didn’t realize I was singing out loud. I’m sorry.” Makayla smiled gently, her voice warm and reassuring. “Don’t stop. You have a beautiful voice.” Lilac glanced shyly down, a hesitant smile returning. “I just...really love this song.” “Me too,” Makayla murmured warmly, shifting closer beneath the blanket. “It’s called ‘Moonlight Glow.’ The lead singer, Landon Bryant, is my mom’s cousin. I grew up hearing it.”

Lucy is quiet and just listens to the performing artists. Some played their music, while others were original compositions as well. Until one woman stood up to show off her talent. Lucifer is silent and listens to the melody of its song. He didn’t know why he was sad while listening to its instrumental. For a moment Lucifer opened his eyes and frowned. He did not think that he was carried away by the sadness of the music, from the talent brought by the girl in front of him.

At my grave, he reached out to touch the photo carved into my tombstone, his smile radiant, though his eyes brimmed with sorrow. "If only the old tales of lovers turning into butterflies were real," he murmured. And in that moment, I felt myself transform—my soul taking shape as a butterfly. I fluttered down, landing softly on his shoulder. He lifted a hand and brushed the edge of my fragile wings. A single tear fell from his eye. Then suddenly, blood spilled from his lips. He collapsed in front of my grave. Moments later, another butterfly appeared beside me. Together, we circled freely in the wind, then soared higher and higher, toward an endless horizon.

She said and smiled broadly. "Thanks girl. I love you." I said and winked at her. We went back to Tracy and Heedah assured Tracy that she was forgiven. At least now, we can say we have a Luna. Our Alpha now has a mate. "Muriel, our ears are itching to hear." Heedah said and smirked. Oh boy, I know that mischievous look. What is she up to now? "Hear what?." I asked in confusion. "Yeah, I'm lost too. What are our ears itching to hear Heedah?." Tracy asked, also in confusion.

She scrambles to the cupboard and disappears inside. To my astonishment, a familiar melody fills the small room. “Abracadabra, feel the beat under your feet, the floor is fire…” Mabel’s voice, slightly muffled by the cupboard door, sings along to Lady Gaga.
