Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

I walked outside to spread some clothes and I ran in immediately. Laman stood on the floor, his legs shaking. He had fully shifted into a small wolf pup with blue fur. He was wagging his tail repeatedly while Leo was hailing him, clapping his hands and laughing. The shift had torn his clothes to pieces and a large piece of the crib was laying just beside him. “Laman!” I whispered, carrying him up quickly before anyone would walk past the open door and try to attack him. “I have classified names in categories.” “Kay, Lani. Thanks.” “Everything is fine with these samples.” Zou Haoran informed as he and Lani were done watching. Layla stretched her stiff body. She could feel something coming from the pup, as if it were reaching for her. He was the same height as Leah, but she could already tell he would be well over six feet tall once he stopped growing.
