An Ex-wife's Guide to Revenge

An Ex-wife's Guide to Revenge

“You're an animal!” I nod calmly, staring at him with clear hate. “You're right. I am, and I'll enjoy your pain. Now answer me, why did you kill Sadie, you fucking sadist?" How could Lys have married this man? How on earth did he think a whimpering coward like this was even worth a second of her time? Axel growls in my head, asking why I think I'm worth her time either.

My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss

’ Sadie, who was sitting at the side, was dumbfounded. ‘He calls her “Livia”? Why does it seem to me that they’re very close to each other? But she calls him Mr. Yarde instead of Kayson…’ She felt like her brain was a chaotic mess and became annoyed. Livia did not say anything to Kayson anymore. She turned her head to look at Sadie and asked, “Are you planning to expand Wolfenden Corp. to Skyspring?” Sadie snapped herself out of her thoughts and said, “Yes. I’m here this time for the Dickinson International project.”

What's up with this author. It's been almost a month since it has been updated. This is a good book. Don't just leave everyone hanging. This is the reason I will delete this app after I finish reading. You pay and get the bonuses, but they expire before you can finish the book. This is unacceptable

I love this book so far and I can’t stop reading it. In addition, it made me continuously unlock every chapter because the story isn’t dragging. Most of the time I skip few chapters because the story is predictable but not this book. The grammar is okay so it’s not disturbing to read.

Arla: White Wolf, White Witch

Arla: White Wolf, White Witch

The six friends sat in the living room in Lydia’s cottage, playing a board game, while Sadie read one of Arla’s werewolf textbooks for the five hundredth time. She let out a long, dramatic sigh, causing the rest of them to look in her direction, noticing the wistful look on her face. “Uh, are you ok, Sadie?” asked Sebastian, a little warily. “What? Oh, yeah, sorry,” she replied. “I just get caught up in the romance every time I read about werewolf mates.”

I read this book in a few days. This was one of the few books that had a great storyline that flowed effortlessly. Minimal if any grammar errors and a captivating group of characters. I would definitely read another book by this author! Can we get a book 2 about Drew and any updates on Arla and clan?

Tasting my stepbrother daddies.

Tasting my stepbrother daddies.

Her lips turned dry, her eyes wide as she watched who walked in, it was none other than Lorenzo De Rossi. He was still in his biker jacket, his eyes on the class and a smirk on his face. One that immediately fell when he locked eyes with Sadie. But Sadie couldn’t believe it. The man who had just walked in, the visual arts director and professor of the school’s architecture and arts class—was none other than one of her stepbrothers… and sugar daddy, Lorenzo! The recognition was there, one she immediately turned away from, facing her book instead. She couldn’t help but bite her lip, and her hands almost turned pale white when she realized it was really him.

Sadie

Sadie

All we wanted was to be Jacob and Sadie and be free. I found a woman by the name of Doctor Riley Kim. She is a well-known Psychiatrist here in Baker with a hell of a reputation. She is also very expensive and hard to see. I got an appointment for Sadie and me two weeks after Sadie turns eighteen. We hoped she would work with us once we told her our situation. We needed her to see Sadie as a mentally healthy woman. We needed her to see how wrong Sadies reports were. The only thing we worried about was how the doctor could get ahold of Sadies records without giving our location away. It wasn't going to be easy, but we had to try something.

Night And Shining Armour

Night And Shining Armour

Everything happened between him and Layla so fast hat he didn’t find time to inform Brian about it. “Oh, my God!” Sadie exclaimed as she covered her mouth with her hand. “You’re blushing? Have you been rejected?” Not one used to lying, he said, “Yes, just recently.” Something he immediately regretted. He drank his liquor and put the empty glass on the table. The alcohol was making his tongue a bit slippery. “Name, please,” she inquired, excitedly. “Is she a celebrity? Is she a socialite?” “No names,” he said and smiled. “But she’s not a celebrity, but she deals with celebrities. She works as a writer and researcher for a TV network.”

Lana rushed out of the office assuming he grew sick. Meanwhile, Lars turned away from the table and his body slammed in the wall. Placing his one hand over the wall he supported the shivering silhouette. “That scent!” His eyes glowed red and canines elongated, skin turned pale whitish. “Svetlana’s scent feels like hers.” Shaking his head, Lars slumped on the floor as a soft sob echoed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ending of 'Sadie' is both heartbreaking and thought-provoking. After a relentless pursuit of her sister's killer, Sadie confronts him in a tense, violent showdown. The confrontation leaves her fate ambiguous—some believe she dies, while others think she survives but chooses to disappear. The podcast framing the story reveals fragments of truth, suggesting the killer is dead, but Sadie's voice is never heard again. The unresolved ending lingers, making readers question justice, revenge, and the cost of obsession.

The novel's structure amplifies the emotional weight. The podcast transcripts and Sadie's first-person narrative create a dissonance—her raw pain contrasts with the detached, investigative tone of the podcasters. The final episodes hint at clues Sadie left behind, but her absence speaks louder. It’s a masterstroke of storytelling, leaving us haunted by what’s unsaid. The ending doesn’t tie neat bows; it mirrors real life’s messiness, where closure is rare and grief isn’t linear.
