Later Traitor Novels & Stories

I’d almost forgotten about the lone, broken survivor from the last raid, locked deep in our cells under heavy guard and Moonbane wards. “Relentlessly, once we applied the right… persuasion,” Liana said, her mouth a thin line. She was our best interrogator, her methods a blend of psychological subtlety and unflinching resolve. “He’s terrified of being taken back by Seraphine. He’s trying to buy his life with information.” “What did he give you?” Marcus’s gaze met mine, steady and serious. “He says there’s a traitor. Here in Black River.” The room seemed to tilt. “A traitor? One of ours?” The words tasted like bile.

This time, a hint of fear appeared in the traitor’s eyes. I gave the traitor the antidote, which allowed him to speak again. Then, I leaned in and whispered into his ear, “Look. Don Vestri is right over there, but he would rather let his lover kill you than save you. As for Wendy, she would rather kill you herself.” The traitor gritted his teeth. He did not believe that the people he trusted would refuse to save him. “Just watch and see if they’ll save you.” I held the muzzle of my gun to his temple and clicked off the safety.

I continued, "I need the truth, Jacob. Are you the mole?" Jacob's gaze met mine, a flicker of defiance and resignation in his eyes. "You think I would betray Layla?" I took a step closer. "The evidence suggests otherwise. If you're innocent, now is the time to prove it." As the room held its breath, Jacob's shoulders slumped; he looked defeated. The unexpected twist of Jacob, once considered someone fit enough to be a member, being the potential traitor added a layer of complexity to the whole situation. "I haven't betrayed the pack, and I will never do that," he declared, his voice strained.

Roman ‘We need to shower, then we have to talk to the pups. What’s the situation with the warriors here?’ I ask my father in the mind link. ‘There was resistance, but everyone heard what Gillian said. No one can deny that Althea betrayed her wolf, her family, and her pack.’ As I hold my crying mate, I look around the pack. She’s not the only one crying. However, I think most of these people are crying because of the betrayal that they just heard about, not because their Alpha and Luna are dead.

I asked him and he looks at the flickering light in my room. "Who it was or who they were". He muttered to himself and I scowled. "You just said you found a traitor, who was it? a traitor mean one person, traitors mean more than one. Which is it, Reece?" I asked and he laughed. "It was one person, at first, then it became two. And although the second person isn't directly a traitor he is an accomplice." he said and I stopped pushing him to reply, he looked like he was in the middle of a conversation with himself so I let him be.

They had always trusted him, even before Rogue Land. The older Alpha's lips curl up in a faint almost unnoticeable smile. I just know he is to deliver a final blow. "And through all that support, he did something truly unforgivable,” he pauses slightly to let his words settle on every skin in the room. "So unforgivable, that some still refer to him as a traitor till this day." Something is not right, I can't shake off that feeling of dread, not because of what he is saying, but rather at what he is holding back.

The two warriors continuing their stalwart stand, as hell unleashed upon them all around. Forest Edge, Renegade forward command. The day had gone from bad to worse for the traitor colonel. He had been given the honour of crushing the last bastion of loyalist defence for being the first defector, only to be foiled by an uninvited guest. He felt like weeping. Years of preparation and shady dealings slipping from his grasp, even as his former P*F regiments were blessed by Father Nurgle's first touch. Is this my trial, oh great plague farther? If so I will endure it.

I admit. “This probably isn’t the place to talk about that. As for the family, I will help fend them off. Gideon was being a dick, asking Anton about his tattoos then taunting him for leaving you. He never covered any up, Val. He never stopped loving you, he just felt he wasn’t good enough for you. Mixed with what he does, and the dangers of it all, especially back when he had just taken over after his fathers’ death. You were his biggest weakness. Now he has two,” Hudson explain. “I flew out to Italy more than once to talk sense into him. He would go out drinking, and if a woman touched him, he broke her fingers. Eventually they all avoided him to keep their hands intact.” “You ne

“The Luna. The Alpha. The cursed wolf. And the traitor. All in one spot. Super convenient.” “Who you calling traitor?” Lila pulled both knives out so fast. “Because if that’s aimed at me, we got beef.” “It is aimed at you. You turned on Black Moon. Refused to hand over the relic. That kind of disloyalty has a price.” Tall guy waved at his crew. “Kill them. Keep the Luna alive. She’s coming with us.” “You wish!” I flung a handful of royal blood straight at his face. He sidestepped it easily like he had been waiting for me to strike.

But the niggling doubt was driving me mad. “Poor little clone,” Felicia whispered into my mind, “do you really think he'll still love you when he knows what you are?” “Yes!” I snapped. “You don't know him. He doesn't care about that.” “Oh don't I?" she laughed derisively. “Gregor, the last of the keepers, failed assassin, and traitor to the crown.” “Why do you call him a traitor?” I asked. “He has done nothing but work to put the rightful heir back on the Lobotian throne.”
