My Boyfriend’s Dad Is My Gynecologist

My Boyfriend’s Dad Is My Gynecologist

“And you’re coming with me whether you like it or not.” Tommy’s eyes finally sharpened. “Jesus, you’ve lost it.” “No,” I said. “But you’re about to. Starting with your freedom.” He flinched—just barely—but it was enough. Madison let out a high-pitched laugh like she thought this was all some twisted soap opera. “Okay, what the hell is going on? What about me?” I turned to her slowly. “I don’t give a fuck what you do, Madison. Maybe try checking yourself into a rehab facility. Get clean. Read a book. Grow a soul.”

Madness Decends

Madness Decends

She dropped her keys several times before just putting them in her pocket rather than trying to juggle them. Taking a deep breath, walking into her new jail for the next year and a half was a bit of a shock. Back home her school wasn’t this big, the campus was an old farming complex remodeled and made into a school, and her class was maybe 200 people. Here, her class had to be close to 400!

My Tenants Chose Chaos

My Tenants Chose Chaos

I turned my family's old building into shared apartments. Five floors. Downtown. Huge courtyard. I tore down every non-load-bearing wall and redesigned the layout. Singles. Doubles. Four-person rooms. Something for everybody. Rent was half what everyone else charged. I only rented to people who'd graduated within the past three years. And instead of cramming more rooms into the courtyard, I added a gym and cafeteria. Brand-new gym equipment. Two cooks. Meals that cost about the same as dining hall food. And the first month? All meals were free. I really thought I was doing something good. Giving people fresh out of school a little breathing room. A place to call home. They cal

My Husband Divorce Me, So I Married His Father

My Husband Divorce Me, So I Married His Father

"Maddie, listen to me." She laughed bitterly. "Listen to what?" Her eyes were full of tears. "That this is another misunderstanding?" I had no answer. Because I didn't know. And for the first time in my life... I was afraid. --- ### Maddie I left. I didn't even know where I was going. I just needed space. The mansion suddenly felt suffocating. Every wall. Every room. Every memory. Everything felt different. The man who protected me. The man who held me when I was broken.

A Prince of Wolves and Moonlight.

A Prince of Wolves and Moonlight.

But, alas, it was situated on the far side of the door, away from me. I turned to the vanity and decided to look at the journal again. Perhaps I could glean some helpful information from it. I fished it out of its hiding place and began to read. The style and grammar were that of a child. I started at the beginning: Entry one. Mama gave me this book, along with the vanity to hide it in. She says I should write things down. It will help me remember and help me not feel so lonely in this room. The only time I get to leave is when I go to the lab for a test. Most of those I don’t remember when they are over. The only things I can remember are the sounds he makes when they are working on him. My

Torn between love and hate

Torn between love and hate

I didn’t know what awaited me—and that uncertainty terrified me most of all. Time passed unbearably slowly. I had been here for a month and a half already, and in all that time, I hadn’t seen a single soul besides Johnny. The place reminded me of an abandoned asylum, and sometimes I felt like one of its lost patients—like I was on the edge of losing my mind. Suddenly, Johnny burst into the room and shut the door behind him. His face was slick with sweat, his chest heaving as though he had been running. “What happened?” I asked, alarmed.

CEO's UNEXPECTED WIFE

CEO's UNEXPECTED WIFE

A week later… While Tyler plotted in silence, the world had turned its thinking gaze upon Grant’s penthouse, and its faceless anger was aimed at no other person than MADDISON with an unfortunate accuracy. *************** MADDISON'S POV The only light in the large living room of Grant’s penthouse was the tiny hard square of glass in Maddison's hand. Its blue cold light marked her face with colors of tiredness and drained the shadow at the corners of her eyes, and she felt as though she was a ghost in a palace. She had been at Grant’s penthouse for a few days after the unexpected proposal. And apart from windows from floor to ceiling, Charlotte city sparkled like a loose bed of diamonds, a won

THE TENANT'S SECRET

THE TENANT'S SECRET

She was dangerous, she was pure intelligence, she was… she was the perfect woman a man like him would want. 8:0 p.m. A new place had opened his old doors to them, even if they weren’t a family, they arrived into that new space like one. Money wasn’t going to be a problem anymore, not for a couple of months since he had paid ahead two months. She was not going to suffer what Rebecca and her son suffered that morning. As soon as they opened the new household, Rud’s eyes got bigger and shiny, he couldn’t believe the place they were going to live. Maybe, it wasn’t the big palace they used to live but that place was so much beautiful and bigger.

Becoming Luna 2: His True Luna Awakens

Becoming Luna 2: His True Luna Awakens

Or did something happen? Deciding to worry about it later, I lifted the book that had called so desperately to me and opened it to a page that was dog-eared. "Let's see what you are." I murmured, allowing my eyes to take in the scribbled handwritten letters on an old yellow page. February 9th, 1979 A week has passed since Papa Mackie abandoned us. We've been kept in dirty cells with rats and roaches infesting them. A man with an evil scowl and a scar-covered face brings us our meals, but only after we relieve our shots.

Amatucci Family

Amatucci Family

With him, he spoke as much as he didn't, so that was no definitive answer. We were still crowded in the entry hallway of the safe house Eden set up. Not a single piece of furniture, not a fiber of carpet or rugs, not a thread of curtains distracted from the shithole of the house. Dappled mold made an almost pretty pattern on the walls. So I guess that was something at least. Tucking my arms in against my vulnerable chest, I tried to push the pain from my mind. Tried to think through the adrenaline and dopamine that soaked my brain. My medical knowledge should have been a bigger help in my fighting.
