The basement laundry room of the mansion was a subterranean world of white noise and fluorescent lighting. It was 4:00 PM on a Sunday—the only scheduled "downtime" the production allowed. Most of the contestants were napping, or in Kieran’s case, loudly complaining about the lack of signal in the game room. Elion stood in front of Washer #3, watching his clothes spin in a hypnotic circle of grey and blue. He felt heavy. The emotional hangover from the night before was still clinging to him like a damp coat. He had cried. He had confessed. He had let Cale see the darkest, most broken part of him.

The young maid’s voice becomes colder and crueler. “Do humans even have honor?” The old maid replies as if this is a philosophy question. “Oh, wait. Do we even need this laundry taken care of?” The young maid asks icily. “Oh, no! I just recalled!” The old maid chuckles. I pause my wringing water free of the clothing and look up at them. “Did I wash the clothing wrong?” I ask gently. “No, no, we don’t need the clothing to be washed! Oops!” The old maid stares me down with a fanged grin.

I opened one of the washing machines and placed some clothes inside. The door to the laundry room and Jenny came in looking around. "Where's the laundry maid," she asked but I didn't reply. "I'm sure you're not deaf cos I just asked a question," she said again but I kept mute. " Hey!!" She called nudging me by the arm. "Don't you ever in your godforsaken life touch me" I snapped at her. "Now she's barking, I'm gonna make sure you get thrown out of here soon," she said and I let out mocking laughter.

It was clear she had simply grabbed a hamper full of her dirty laundry from the past week. We all gave Dad big hugs, and Mom kissed him and murmured quietly to him before he got in the minivan and drove home. Then she turned to us and gave us a big smile. "Shall we start on this laundry?" she asked. Gwynne and I both smiled, and the three of us headed down to the laundromat to start washing those clothes. It was still awkward for us to hold a normal conversation. When we arrived at the little laundromat, one of our neighbors was there, sitting and reading a book while his laundry was spinning in one of the dryers. He nodded at us briefly before going back to his book.

Finally, he was reminded that Sally was in the laundry room. The laundry room was located in an inconspicuous corner of the nursing home's backyard. He pushed the door and went in. Several giant washing machines were labeled "under maintenance". At the far end of the laundry room, a petite girl was standing barefoot in the basin, her hands and feet covered with white foam. She looked up at the sound of the door opening. "Javier?" Javier frowned and immediately strode in. "Sally, why are you doing this?"

Carla asked, in a tone that suggested she did not anticipate success for me. "Nope! It is in my head now," I replied cheerfully, and I heard Beth snort under my towel. "But," I added mournfully, "that is, was, my last clean towel." "Sucks to be you," Carla said. "Laundry room is always crowded on Sundays." Sure. I had two naked chicks in my room, one just getting dressed now, and the other still wiping my jizz from her face. It did not, in fact, suck to be me.

” Lisa asked ” Laundry I guess” Sharon replied and walked toward the door to open up. A lady came in and walked into the laundry room,, ” Let’s go take our bath,,, or we are gonna run late ” Lisa said dragging Sharon into the bathroom The lady who came in went out immediately with their dirty clothes ” That’s what they do everyday?? ” Lisa asked ” Yes,,,” Sharon replied ” Wow,,this look so good on me ” Lisa smiled checking herself out in the sport wear,a complete blue of soft cardigan and joggers with a white snickers ” Let’s go,,” Sharon said taking her laptop

DANIELLE'S POV I walked swiftly towards the washing machine, my hair held up in a messy bun. I was wearing a big round-neck top over denim shorts. It's a Saturday_the day we do all our laundries, and clean up the apartment. Normally it's our room janitor that's supposed to be doing that but we sent her away. Although she begged to at least be coming on Mondays to clean up for us since we are always busy on such days. After much thought, we reluctantly agreed.

I just went through the motions of a normal shower, washing my hair and cleaning all the sweat and other fluids off of me. I turned off the water and wrapped myself in a towel, then dried off slowly and got dressed in comfortable clothes. I wanted to go lay back down on the bed, but the sheets were still a mess and dirty from activities with Jaxon. Instead, I stripped my bed and pulled up all the sheets and my comforter, carrying everything down to the laundry room. I began to load the sheets into the wash and start a load. "You don't have to do that, Ms. Sara." I turned around to see a sweet woman who I normally saw walking around the house, cleaning. I sighed and smiled at her.

My maid uniform smelt awful from all the sweat and different things that had poured on it, but all of my clothes were even worse because I had not taken any time to sort out my laundry. There were washing machines available in the basement for everyone in the apartment to use, but Adam was too much of a cheap man, and all of us had to cough up a few cents in order to use them, which was as good as driving your dirty laundry to some laundromat in town and getting it done there. Also, there had been cases of a few people complaining that their clothes disappeared from the washing machines only for Adam to sell them on the side. So, I had no choice but to pack my dirty clothes into my tote bag
