Lena's POV. I hummed a sweet, melodious tune as I walked down from the market with a bag of groceries in my hand. I couldn't get his voice out of my mind. I was excited. Too excited. He promised to marry me, he promised to make me his Luna. And even as I silently flung open the door, I could hear his voice in my head. Literally. “Yes! oh god! Yes! Come on, fuck the shit out of me” a loud moan snapped me out of my head. I froze looking straight ahead at the couch.

Layla lights candles I’ve never seen before, their wax pure and shimmering white, their wicks ebony black even before they start to burn. She uses them to light sticks of incense, and their smoke twists and twirls up toward the ceiling, surrounding us in hazy clouds. “All you need to do, Ayala, is focus,” Layla says, waving her hands over my prone body in a strange spiraling motion. “Think about what happened to you while you were in the celestial realm. Try to remember what the Moon Rabbit did, and what he said.”

"He's annoying!" Kaylila then got up, went to the bathroom, performed ablution to perform the Fajr prayer. After praying, Kaylila returned to bed. Kaylila tried to sleep again, but her eyes seemed uncooperative. So did her head, Kaylila still felt dizzy.

Confusion caught a greater part of him. “ You have to believe me, this isn't part of my surprise.” Layla was pacing up and down like a mad woman. She was ready to make things right, she had even ignored Justin for his sake but it was obvious he had been deceiving her all along. “ not part of your surprise indeed, so tell me, who else has access to your house aside from you?” Layla asked and recalled the artistic words before she scattered the bed. ‘ FOR YOU SUGAR’

He reread her words more times than necessary, then turned to the closet and stared at the suits, as if any of them could make this easier. Friday. Noon. Whitmore Street. The café was small and sun-drenched, its tables lined with rustic ceramic mugs and hand-picked flowers. Layla arrived ten minutes early, nerves coiled under her skin like wires. She wore a navy blouse, simple earrings, and a curious expression. No expectations. But high alert. She had told no one but Mara. Not even Lucas. Especially not Ethan. As she sipped her lavender tea, her eyes scanned the door with growing tension.

Perhaps, it was because she had stayed for too long that made the queen mother consider her, because apparently she had seen just how things are being done

Leah walked into the café, ordered her usual, and sat in her favorite spot. After ten minutes of just sitting there not even touching her strawberries, she noticed that she wasn’t getting comfort from her favorite snack. That’s when she realized that she was depressed. Leah loved her clan, and she would do anything to protect them. But at what cost? Her freedom? Her happiness? This wasn’t fair. She would rather be getting to know Ray than worrying about how she was going to get herself out of mating with Theo Blackwell.

The assistant felt like vomiting when she caught the scent of alcohol oozing from Layla. Layla shook her head with a smile. She had been grinning all the while, and she was drunk. Though Layla looked beautiful when she smiled, her assistant had rarely seen her smile while she was at work. "I am so blessed, so happy... I am the happiest woman on the planet..." Layla mumbled. "I'm not going back to the hotel... I'm going to climb a mountain... I want to howl at the moon..." Her assistant did not know how to respond when she heard that.

Layla quickly discovered the strangeness in Lyly's words and actions. So she quickly spoke up against Lyly's words. Layla suspects that this is a plan that Millianna and Lyly have arranged in advance. Lyly was startled by Layla's words.
