Inside the Archive, the shelves moved with my breath. I passed by a book bound in velvet dusk. Its title: The First Time You Chose Softness Over Safety. Another: How You Loved When No One Was Looking. I reached for a third. It burned with light before revealing its name: What You Became When You Stopped Trying to Be Understood. I wept then—not from pain, but from reunion. The guide touched my shoulder. “There’s one more,” they said. They led me to a door I hadn’t noticed.

“Lies are distasteful Leiya” I immediately fell silent, watching him shake his head. When he walked closer to the window, I noticed a book in his hands. A dark looking, uninteresting book. “Your first lesson,” He announced as he turned to look at me, holding the book with both hands in front of him. “Is to teleport yourself outside your chamber.” He said casually and planted himself onto the chair. He held out the book to me with a straight face. I stared at him, the book and back to him. I was supposed to learn spells from a book? I almost laughed at the idea itself.

She approached it cautiously, her heart pounding with anticipation. "This book... it feels important," she said, reaching out to touch it. The moment her fingers made contact with the cover, the symbols flared to life, casting a brilliant light throughout the room. Kai, Allan, Lila, and Seraphina gathered around Alex as she carefully opened the book. The pages were filled with intricate drawings and cryptic text, written in a language none of them recognized. As they studied the book, a sense of urgency washed over them, as if the knowledge contained within was both powerful and dangerous.

Chris asked. " I am not sure, but I think I saw her with a book in the library," Sera said and ran towards the library, others following close behind. Luckily, a book was left on the table with a few pages torn. " Do you have another copy of this book?" Chris asked Axel. Axel found a copy of the book and looked for the page which was torn. " It tells about the places nearest to the moon." " Why would she want to know that?" " Alexa said that she had met the Moon Goddess while in the moonstone," Sera whispered.

Pointing at it, “No, this green dome-shaped around the book.” They looked puzzled. Shaking their heads. “No, we only see a book in front of you.” “Maybe you’re the only one who could see it since you touched it?”, Leah suggested. “Or maybe it’s another power of yours?”, she reckoned. I hummed, looking back at the book. I raised my hands and stared at them for a good few seconds before deciding to place them on the surface of the small green dome around the book. I probably look stupid in front of the two as they don’t see the green-dome shaped around the book. It may look like I’m hovering my hands above like I’m about to cast some sort of spell.

“Can you at least tell us what they say?” He shook his head. “I’m afraid not. Another thing you need to work out. I can, however give you this.” He gave me one of the books on his desk. I opened it. There were pictures in it. An apple on the first page, a ball on the second, a cat on the third... a basic kid’s learn to read book. “We don’t have time to learn your language now. Just read them for us.” Grayson shook his head. “That’s not how it works.”
