DOMUS MALUM

DOMUS MALUM

His first stop is Cafe Ysabel. A famous coffee shop downtown where people crowd in like they can’t breathe without their coffee. It has a beautiful Romanesque interior design with a lot of different kinds of coffee and desserts offered. The owner of the cafe is a client of Lucas, who sold his life just so he could attain success in his business. Lucas entered the cafe and the owner, Aeron, approached him immediately wearing a big grin. “Well, well, well, to what do I owe the pleasure of your presence here? Name it and you’ll have it!” His smile annoys Lucas, he just can’t fathom humans’ level of stupidity when it comes to their desires.

Unbounded

Unbounded

I run down the stairs before taking a look around. I shudder in revulsion before running out of the house. Today I'll only be working at the cafe. It's a cute cafe. They mostly sell coffee and pastries but there's a section for books. There are books you can even borrow to read. It was honestly so beautiful, homey and cozy. I fell in love with it at first sight. I entered the cafe to see people already there. I hurried to the backroom to get ready for my shift and deposit my things. I saw my co-worker there.

Divorced my cheating husband married his rival

Divorced my cheating husband married his rival

********Tessa******** I stared at my phone for the 100th time as the caller kept calling over and over again. My eyes caught the familiar pair of brown wheels that I had seen the first time that I found this coffee book reading shop. All my life and living with my step dad this has been one of my favorite spot considering the fact that I loved reading whenever I felt bored at home and broken I always come here and what hurts most is the fact that Nicolas was the person who brought me here before I turned 13 because he saw how much I loved reading.

Revenge With My Brother’s Best Friend

Revenge With My Brother’s Best Friend

~Cindy’s POV~ Lily Café & Bookstore sat on the corner of Westfield Avenue, its carved wooden sign with my grandmother’s name swaying gently above the door, the paint chipped but proud. She’d opened it decades ago, convinced a city needed two things: good coffee and good books. I pushed open the door, the bell above jingling sharply as I stepped inside.

The True Legacy

The True Legacy

I only shrank back a little closer to Abby, looking timid and defeated. Abby took my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, signaling me to stay calm. Soon, the host took the stage and began announcing the next segment. After several rounds of charity auctions, the host's tone suddenly grew excited. "Next, we have the most anticipated moment of the night!" he declared. "This special donation comes from Mr. Bourn of Bourn Enterprise—an extraordinary legacy that could change the entire market!" The spotlight shifted toward the stage. Two security guards stepped up, carefully carrying a metal safe still faintly covered in dirt, and placed it at the center of the platform.

Oops, My Bastard Just Ate Your Legacy!

Oops, My Bastard Just Ate Your Legacy!

"I'm what the Ravengale bloodline tried to kill in themselves—and failed." Meanwhile, Kael sat at his desk, the rhythmic tap of his red pen against the patrol reports breaking the silence of the office. His mind wandered, caught somewhere between the mundane tasks of the day and the strange feeling that had been gnawing at him ever since his parents left for the Lycan Prince’s territory.

The Billionaire’s Discarded Bride

The Billionaire’s Discarded Bride

"I'll see you when you bring Tom back at eight." She left laughing, which I chose to find undignified. ******** The car took me to a part of the city I hadn't been to in years — a quiet side street off the main drag, lined with old buildings that hadn't been renovated into anything sleek or profitable yet. I recognized it before I recognized it, and then I stepped out of the car and saw the hand-lettered sign in the window, and something in my chest went very still. Archer & Sons Booksellers. Est. 1987.

Take My Heart

Take My Heart

Jared shrugged, “So Jeff helped me, took over the entire company in his name and cashed out my money in the bank. Henceforth the entire company has nothing to do with me, including the cafe." Including that cafe? Deen muses, Jeff says that their father's main legacy is the cafe and a few other things. But from Jared's tone, as well as Bara's, it seemed like there was something bigger here somehow. "You don't know." Jared quickly read Deen's expression, "Did Jared say that our parents' legacy is just that cafe?" Deen nodded at Jared in confusion as the man burst out laughing,

Mafia's Runaway And Pregnant

Mafia's Runaway And Pregnant

Asher I’m sipping from a cup of coffee in the small library on the first floor. I don’t trust anyone not to spill on the old books. Their yellowed pages pack decades of stories that can’t be replaced. I’m the only person in the mansion who cares about these things. Thus, I’m the only one with the luxury of enjoying a good drink among the shelves.

Crossroads Café

Crossroads Café

Huge windows decorated with complicated carvings of wolves, vines, stars, and moons. The café had a big sign. It was the silhouette of a black howling wolf with « Crossroad café » written with a bright yellow. She wondered what was the link between a wolf and a crossroads. The logo did not make sense to her. Old Al’ made a sound and she realized that she did not move, too engrossed by the beauty of the café. She joined them as the old man opened the door where a warm atmosphere welcomed them. Bianca got stuck again by the interior. It was everything that she liked. A rustic decoration with massive pieces of wood. A huge bar with an impressive range of drinks from coffee to strong alcohol.

Oh my what a beautifully refreshing book! I laughed so much! I completely fell in love with Bianca and Magnus! They are super cute one is serious and stoic and the other fun and fiesty. Perfectly suited for each other! I always love reading about strong women and their equally strong men.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book! I have read so many books that are so full of fluff just to keep the reader hooked for the real story, but this book is fantastic and every chapter is relevant. You’ll run through a roller coaster of real emotions and still want more. Definitely worth it!
