I set the spatula down and turned to Leon, my brow furrowed. "Japan? Leon, what brought this on?" He shrugged, his smile softening. "I thought it’d be good for us. A change of scenery. A chance to breathe some new air." While his reasoning seemed simple enough, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something more to it. But the way he looked at me, so calm and sincere, made me hesitate to press further. Instead, I smiled and nodded. "Alright, then. Japan it is."

He looked at me and nodded then he went back to his desk. “I’ll be right back Yukio. Stay here. I’ll bring you some snacks too.” He nodded and I went to the kitchen. From the time I spent here, I noticed that they don’t put any sweetener in their tea. Maybe I should make Sora some honey lemon tea. I grabbed some lemons and a jar of honey. I made sure to make the tea sweet and refreshing. I also grabbed a few fruits and cut them into animal shapes for Yukio. I went back to the study. When I opened the door, they both looked at me.
