Lemonade Mouth: Wen Novels & Stories

I'd heard her voice echo through his phone. "They're all different flavours. There's lemon, um lime or apple, orange." "Oh," Lena laughed breaking into hysterics. "One box of lemon please." She explained where we'd gone wrong when we got back but to this day she still called them lemon flavoured tampons. I stumbled back into my room armed with Lena's lotions. A waft of steam hit me in the face. Kayla was already in the shower. Naked in my shower. My mate. In my shower. Naked.

Liam asked Adina. “Something without caffeine but with sugar would be nice,” she smiled. Liam nodded at a warrior and they hurried off and came back with two large glasses of lemonade. “Thank you,” Adina said and drank hers. When she was done, Johnny held out his towards her. “No thank you, you can drink in,” she told him. He just shook his head and insisted that she would drink it. She smiled and drank his as well. “That hit the spot. Thank you. Let’s get down to business,” Adina said and explained the procedure to Liam. He nodded.

She came in at a close second. "Tell me, Ciaran, how is your endeavor going with the coal mines you are pinning after?" Nerezza asked and spooned some ice cream into her mouth, Lemon flavored with a sweet granadilla syrup. Mint leaves to break up the sugar. I smiled and took a bit as well.

We locked lips with the lime still in his mouth, the cool, sharp citrus squeezed into my mouth. The guys cheered again, amused by Leo's little performance. Leo let go of me and removed the lime from his mouth, grinning ear to ear. I laughed, trying to catch my breath. Jared leaned over from the other side of me and stuck his tongue in my mouth, kissing me roughly then pulling away.

- I facepalm myself - "my point is you need to throw that nasty ass candy away and get a lemon." Furrowing my brow, I'm trying to figure out what he's even talking about. "A lemon? Is this some weird reference to making lemonade or something stupid like that?" "While that would have been a good one, no. This is about how sniffing a lemon cancels out all the other smells around you and calms the tummy. In fact…" He reaches into his drawer and rummages around for a few seconds. "Ah ha! Here it is. I brought you this."

Troy left the room quickly, his mouth felt dry; cotton mouth. Probably a side effect of what Dr. Barren had just given him or what he'd been given yesterday. He decided to go up to the cafeteria for something to drink. He was thinking of ways to sneak into one of the private offices to use the phone when he saw Jace and a heavily made up Goth girl sitting at a table playing cards.

Leo is sitting next to me his big frame sprawled out on the sofa. “Never have I ever, but instead of drinking alcohol we are eating these super sour gummies.” She says holding up a pack of candy that has a flame on the packaging. I make a face at her; anything that has a flame on the package can’t be good. She wiggles her brows at Leo and I like Zach likes to do when he wants to convince you to do something. Leo and I laugh at the same time. She’s taking on Zach’s mannerisms already, how are going to survive this? These two are a trip. “Okay I’ll go first. Never have I ever stolen anything.” Zach says and all of us reach out to Lana taking one candy. I place it into my mouth and it explodes

"Enjoying it, huh?" D'Andre nodded vigorously, his mouth too full to respond verbally. He took a sip from the cup of cold lemonade Andrea had brought and let out an appreciative sigh. The tangy sweetness of the drink washed over his taste buds, a refreshing contrast to the savory meal.

That was not a good start. I lined up a piece of broken lemon next to it in an attempt to soothe it, but it actually made it even worse. The lemon was not sweet, much less neutral, a bloody citric acid that made her shiver with agony compulsively begging for water. God, how can people drink that?

He winked at me and I blushed furiously using my sweater sleeves to try to cover it. "Well lemons are as they are, they are strong, pretty strong at first like we all know, but after a while of taking it, we get used to them, but if we go a while without taking it, it might sting again with the same effect it have the first time," he explained. I actually understood them clearly, now she understood why they had fruits on them, they were metaphorically like the fruits. "They are also called Arizona," "What about the first one?" I asked him.
