It was another tiring night for Kendra as Lendon didn’t let her go until he was satisfied. The next day, the rain stopped, and the sun came out. Yolanda’s tomb was near the land of lavender. Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

“Oh, you got married. Congratulations.” “This is not the time to speak about marriage. I want you to focus.” “Ok, Alpha. Your request once again.” “Find Freya. She is my Luna. Track her phone and location.” “Noted.” Red Eyes got to work while I stood watching him. The sound of my heartbeat became louder than it was. My teeth bit down on my lower lips. I gulped in, paying full attention to what Red Eyes was doing. It took a shorter time as expected before his red light came up again.

Photos lined the shelves—championships, ceremonies, past students immortalized in glossy smiles. One frame pulled her closer. Her mother—Linda—young and radiant, standing beside another woman. Taller. Silver-eyed. Wearing the crescent moon necklace of royal blood. Luna Belladora. Once a bond sister. A friend. Before the betrayal. Bella touched the glass. “What happened?” she whispered. Hilda growled softly. Not yet. Answers will come. She forced herself away—toward the library. Books steadied her. Pages quieted the chaos. She curled into a chair, head bowed, whispering softly:

“Let’s keep moving.” They kept moving, drawn toward a soft glow up ahead. The marks on Liora’s wrist guided her, avoiding thorns and sudden holes. With every step, she felt a little less afraid and a little more determined. They came into another clearing, this one covered in glowing blue moonflowers. In the middle stood a stone statue of a woman in armour, one hand reaching toward the sky. Kael approached cautiously. “Is this… her?” Liora wiped snow from the base of the statue and found a name carved into it: Lyana, the First Moonbound. The journal vibrated in her hand, like it knew that name.

When he got to Vespera, she was asked which cartoon character she really loved and she replied: "The Goddess from the Sinbad cartoon." Ezekiel’s eyes twitched. His fists tightened and his hand holding the phone shook. The voices from the device only sank into the background of his mind as he stared at the smiley Vespera with less subconscious. Lorna's favourite character was also the Goddess Eris from Sinbad, Legend of the Seven Seas.
