Leo roared. "Mr. Robinson, stay back!" Elena shouted, reaching into her coat. CRACK. Leo didn't hit her. He shot the engine block of her car. Steam hissed into the air. "The next one goes in your shoulder, Elena," Leo said, his voice a low, terrifying growl. "I gave half my blood today. I don't have enough left to be patient. Where is your sister?" Elena fell to her knees, the fight leaving her as she realized the man of stone had returned, and he was bleeding for his family.

Lorenzo Santoro's POV I had lost my mind. I mobilized the full might of the Santoro famiglia, leveling Leonardo's stronghold in under three hours. The site was a scene of total devastation, the air thick with smoke and the acrid sting of gunpowder. Elena was rescued without a scratch. She lunged for me, throwing herself into my arms in a fit of hysterical sobbing, but I shoved her aside so violently that she sprawled onto the ground.
