But Raphael held up a hand, stopping him in his tracks. “Remember, Xavier,” he said, his voice cool but commanding, “this little rabbit is my exclusive property.”

"Leo, help me get him onto the medical cot." Leo, a young Beastkin with the protruding tusks of an Orc and the gentle heart of a scholar, stepped forward. His movements were fluid and powerful, effortlessly taking the brunt of the stranger's weight. “You were the one the Don loved most. You have to live on for him.” I opened my mouth to offer some empty platitude, but a line of blood-red text exploded in front of my eyes. It wasn't a hallucination. The words floated above Leo’s head like a neon sign. 【Give me a break. This guy’s a terrible actor.
