she said lazily. She just lay down with no care in the world, while I felt like my whole world was unraveling. What she says filters through my brain and then something clicks. “So, a white wolf is associated with being an alpha female; is that what you are saying? I mean, it does make sense if the moon goddess is a white wolf and definitely an alpha female… and if both me and this other woman have white wolves and are alpha females, then it’s safe to say that a white wolf is associated with being a dominant female,” I conclude, feeling a bit proud of myself.

He was the one who told me I looked like his wife. He found me. “Look what we found. Two little werewolves. Two monsters!” A woman with blazing red hair barked. “You’re not going to run now. We sure loved the way you and your little friends ran away last time.” “Who are you calling little?” Emmie barked. “My best friend is a Luna. You have no idea what that means. She’s a white wolf and will tear you apart in seconds.” “Emmie,” I hissed. “Are you crazy?”

“We both escaped Hell, and we’re looking for someone trustworthy to help others leave.” “What for?” she asked. I turned to Griff and raised my brows in a silent question. It was up to him to decide whether or not to trust Luna with details of Fenrir’s plan. The woman was a she-wolf, although I wasn’t quite so sure how to classify her species right now. Griff released his arm from my shoulder and sat Luna onto one of the benches they’d laid out at the side of the huge trunk. In a low voice, he told her details of Fenrir’s vision of an afterlife for all wolves.

I was Luna of Northwind Pack, mated to Alpha Kael Dorian, the man I'd been crushing on since I was fourteen. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Lara Voss, and I'm an omega, the absolute lowest rank in any wolf pack. Not only that, but I don't have a wolf, never shifted once in my life, and I go completely deaf for the first five days of every month.

He was feared amongst all the packs alongside his powerful Beta Anchor, they ruled all seven packs fearlessly. Long ago, everything was taken away from Daminor, his family and his only love Leia, the most powerful she-wolf of all the seven packs around Red Moon. She was fearless, the leader of all female wolves. She was to be his future Luna, the mother of his pups but it all changed on that unexpected night, when Wolfers attacked all the seven packs, leaving no stone unturned.

She stood there, chest heaving, the remnants of her inner wolf's anger still coursing through her veins. Athena watched with wide eyes, her own emotions a maelstrom of surprise and understanding. In that moment, Light's inner wolf had been a tangible embodiment of the storm that raged within her. It was a testament to the bond between a werewolf and their inner wolf, an unbreakable connection that could be both a source of strength and a wellspring of conflict.

"... True a Lycan can't be mated to a wolf.." "If they were indeed twins, they would both be wolves, right?" "Our Luna gave birth to just one child, I remember that day so vividly..." "Estella is right, we felt her Lycan energy when she saved Alpha Asher...." I felt a smile gradually form on my lips until... "Liesss!! Kira is a wolf! I can feel it! She's an omega from my bloody pack!!”

“Nobody has seen her as a wolf in about eighteen years. She has not woken, so we can not ask if she has shifted in private. Her wolf speaks to nobody, though she does seem to listen and sometimes responds to a few.” “To whom?” “To her daughter, to a mated pair whom she has known eighteen years, and once to a young omega.” “The omega is the pup you call Zinnia?” “Yes.” The Lycan nodded as if that explained everything. Jake glanced in surprise at Lia and then his mother. How did the Lyans know of the pup, let alone know her by name?

I asked carefully. “They're an old lycanthropic legend that speaks of the Goddess endowing a woman as the leader of the species,” Loreta said. "A woman with a heart of gold and a warrior's soul. A woman capable of bringing order and affection to the herds. It is said she has powers we don't know about, that she can see auras, talk to spirits, and overpower any Alpha." I raised my eyebrows and looked at Alessandro. “What Loreta says is true,” said Alessandro. “I felt it last night; the call your she-wolf made was so strong that the wolves nearby couldn't refuse it.”
