Let Him Chase You Novels & Stories

he said, running a hand through his already messy hair, although he seemed a bit guilty about not being able to hold up his part of the deal “Stand him up. Guys love that—it keeps them hooked. Give him the chase, they love that shit” I blinked at him, trying to decide if he was serious or just messing with me. He wasn’t smiling, but he had that mischievous glint in his eye. “You’re serious?” “I am. Ditch the good girl act of wanting to please everyone. In fact, you know what, consider this lesson one – let him chase” “Let him chase me?” it sounded a bit ridiculous in my ears “Exactly.” He smirked. “While he’s pining after you, probably losing sleep and wondering why you canceled, you’ll be p

He turns around sharply at the sound of my voice and immediately begins to backtrack. “ Hold it right there, you piece of shit!” He turns a corner and takes to his heels and I chase after him, hot on his heels. He runs through the parking lot and outside the company. I do not relent in my pursuit, eyes locked on his retreating figure. The image of the dead bird and the pictures he took , as vivid as ever, fuel me to move my legs faster, legs pounding on the asphalt and my heart beating loudly in my ears. Just as I reach out to grab him, he makes a sharp turn into an alley.

Hot breaths assault my sensitive ear as he whispers dark words, “Shh. Don’t say my name. We’re nobodies right now.” “W-what?” “We’ve played house for long enough. Time to play chase.” “What do you mean by… chase?” “I’ll let you go and you’ll run. If I catch you, I’m going to take you, use you, abuse you, and fill your cunt with my cum and make you choke on my dick until you’re crying and begging me to stop.” His voice lowers to a threatening range.

I asked. "Yes." "What?" "We don’t chase." "Why not?" "Because we don’t know where that leads." My frustration grew. "This is crazy." "I know." "No, you don’t understand. Someone is following me. Sending messages. Showing up in front of me. And you’re saying we do nothing?" "We observe," he corrected. "I don’t want to observe. I want this to stop." "So do I." My phone buzzed again. I finally looked at it. A new message. "He’s right. Don’t chase."

“He wants to hunt you, and he's the kind of guy who will do anything to achieve his goals.” “I'm not going to let myself be hunted,” Chiara said firmly.

"The man chasing you is a good man. He would never hurt you." I wasn’t so sure anymore. But maybe, just maybe... I didn’t want to run forever.

I felt his hot breath on the skin of my neck, and that made my heart race faster. "Go, please," I requested calmly. "You can just relief your pain if you—" "Go." I stopped him from speaking, my voice low so I wouldn't break out in tears. "We should end this conversation here. I'm done speaking with you." "But we—" "Go!" I cried. He didn't speak anymore, but I knew he was still behind me. Gently, he leaned close to my ear, pecked it, and whispered, "This doesn't end here. I'll continue the chase. I love you, baby."

The hairs on my body stood up. "Ho..how..do..you..know..about..us?"I stuttered miserably with my words. "Well since the night or I should say morning you left him with no explanation,he is searching you in the city like a mad person. He really feels a thing for you Felicity. You should meet him once. Please I beg you."Chase looks over me with same emotions flickering on his face.

chase places a finger under my chin and lifts my chin up to look at him “what was that princess you will have to say it louder if you want me to hear you” with a roll of my eyes I push his hand away and all but yell “please chase can you show me to my class” I whisper stop being such a dick about it and he grins and something sparkles in his eyes as he says follow me and I blindly follow him without question what could go wrong right?

A slight sheen of water remains on his back and torso, glinting in the light. “Where is Ren?” “You really don’t like me do you?” he murmurs, looking up at me. I can’t quite tell if he is joking around and teasing me, or if he is truly affected by it. I move to sit down on another rock opposite him, trying to get at his eye level. I lean forward on my knees. “What are you doing here? What do you want from this place? Why are you trying to terrorise me?” Chase licks his bottom lip, leaning forward close to me. “It’s simple. I’m having fun.”
