Let's Talk About Kevin Novels & Stories

He quickly got a tray and filled them with water before he got in and went from table to table. The Alpha, Luna, and tipsy Kevin were there. He could tell by the way he was slouched down and how he blinked his eyes several times. Kevin never had something he was interested in rather than partying. That was the only thing he could do and did best. It was a mystery he didn't have two to three kids with his daily careless sex with every female specie he could find. "We are gathered here today to talk about the future of Lichen Park, prior to what we discussed yesterday. Kevin, I heard my wife spoke to you about having a baby with your mate Cynthia and you resisted. Shall I know why?" He asked,

I looked around to catch a hold of the place. "You look wonderful today, baby girl," Kevin said, catching my attention. I was getting used to him complimenting me every now and then. "Thank you. You too" He beamed a smile. His formal black waistcoat made him look really nice. "How come you never had a boyfriend baby?" He asked. What should I answer? The smiling face of Kate while dancing with Eric flashed in my mind for a moment. "I- I just didn't have any ... any time or mind to date" His phone buzzed suddenly saving me from more questions.

Kevin’s eyes lingered a second too long before he forced them back to the TV. They ordered food, cracked open beers, and settled into their usual spots on the big sectional couch. The conversation started light—Mike complaining about the crowded gym, Kevin venting about a tight deadline—but underneath it all was the memory of the other night. It hung in the air like static electricity. Halfway through the pizza, Mike wiped his hands on a napkin and leaned back, legs spread wide. “So… we gonna talk about it or keep pretending nothing happened?” Kevin nearly choked on his beer. He set the bottle down, heart suddenly pounding. “Talk about what?”

Something’s wrong. Kevin forced a tired smile, murmured a quick apology for his tardiness, and slumped into his seat at the front of the room. The meeting proceeded as usual, but Serena could tell his mind was elsewhere. Once the meeting concluded, her colleagues slowly filtered out. Serena gathered her belongings but hesitated when she noticed Kevin rubbing his forehead, his exhaustion evident. “Is everything okay?” she asked gently, stepping closer to his desk. Kevin exhaled deeply, running a hand through his already disheveled hair. “Something happened to Susan’s family. It’s… complicated.” His voice was hoarse, as though he hadn’t slept at all.

No one doesn't feel resentment towards the person who abandoned them when they were in trouble. Jennifer is praying that Emily does not pass the probationary period and is fired by Kevin. Leaving the hospital, Kevin and Jennifer drove to the restaurant to eat. Jennifer thought Kevin agreed to go out to eat with her to give them both a chance to talk more, get to know each other, and then go on a date, but no, he just ate and ate, urging her to eat quickly so he could go home. “Kevin, can't you say a few more words to me?” Jennifer frowned and asked softly.

Aurora's POV "You are literally glowing," Kevin said, squinting at me from across the table. "Shut up." I threw a balled-up napkin at him. He caught it and laughed. Kevin Adler was sharp, lanky, and the only person in my class who didn't bore me to tears. We bonded over a history assignment three weeks ago and he somehow never left. He wasn't trying to kiss me or impress me. He was just there. Easy.

Good. Still, my fingers tightened around the glass for half a second. Just half. Kevin clicked his tongue after a while and dropped his glass. "Well, let's talk about something else..." He leaned forward, lips stretching with a knowing grin. "What do you think of Nathan bagging Matteo Ruseff? I can't believe that bastard skipped over you just to hand the deal over to Nathan. Vile."

He shook his head, laughing it off as Mira and Ruby looked at him like he had grown three heads, “Well, who does? right?" Kevin shrugged his shoulders, chopping carrots on the kitchen’s island, "But believe it or not. They do have a place in our history," He revealed, making Mira raise her eyebrows at him in a confused manner, while Ruby eyed him warily, she was beginning to regret not taking her sister's advice, "And, as a history teacher, I find them fascinating.” "Why are we talking about this?" "You left because I was not interesting enough but here is it," He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and quite dramatically, “I am obsessed with vampires. There I said, isn’t that interesting?”

"I've missed you so damn much, it hurts sometimes." "Why don't we do something?" Kevin's voice went low and deep and I caught a hint of mischief in his tone. "Something? What is that?" I grinned, crossing my arms. "Wait let me switch this to a video call," he said before I heard shuffling in the background and soon he was requesting a video call and I was accepting as fast as possible. There was no harm in a video call since Luca had clearly stated that he was going to be at the conference hall for a while to see if he could catch Richardson and discuss some stuff. So, I had the room to myself for a while.

With a resigned sigh, Kevin said, "Stay put, Bradley. I'll go get Dr. Foster." While Kevin was a medical doctor, he specialized in neurology. He had originally pursued medicine for Thomas' sake, but by the time he had completed his studies, Thomas had already passed away.
