The night was cold, and I feared they would catch a cold, but they began to cry out loud on the road. People began to stare, so I had gotten them the ice cream. When they got home, I prepared for them a nice warm shower, and dressed them, making them ready for bed. “I'm craving a bedtime story, Mommy.” Nadia said, as I tucked them in. “I'll tell you one tomorrow. I'm exhausted, okay? What do you think about two bedtime stories tomorrow?” I asked, as a bribe. “Oh yeah! I want Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty.”

Crawling out of my bed, I snuck over to the door and crept down the stairs, being careful not to make any noise. The sun still hasn't risen, but I woke up hours ago. I grabbed a light blanket from the hall closet and pulled it over my shoulders, knowing the cold would come to me soon. Stepping into the family room, I looked around as if that room has all the answers to my questions. The picture of a wolf came into view and I stepped toward it again. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the wolves and moon were made up of names. Tons of names that circled and swirled into patterns and revealed beautiful Shape Shifters running after the midnight moon.

With a choir, singing in her living room! “Beth,”Emma said ever so sweetly,“honey,are you totally sure you weren't having a dream?You must realize how this sounds!All this talk of caskets and corn children giving you ominous warnings….did you watch a horror movie before bed?You know how those upset you.” Beth composed herself as best she could.”No, I didn't watch a horror movie Em.I came downstairs thinking I’d left the telly on and there in my living room was a casket with me in it!And a choir of children.”

The next second, the Patchwork Monster tore the man in half. He tossed the body outside casually. Just then, a crisp, bell-like voice sounded outside. “It’s after work hours, who’s so rude as to be throwing bodies around?” A young girl with three heads and eight arms appeared at the doorway. With just one look at the shop, anger filled her voice, and her hair stood on end. “Who the hell had a death wish and smashed the Number One Must-Eat shop in the entire horror game?”

Uncle said, shaking. ++++++++++++ And the mystery deepens while the stories get scarier. This sounds like something straight out of a horror film. The thing is, it's being told by a real person and based on experiences that his family had gone through. Hopefully, you will be back for more so you can find out if this lady in black will finally back off from the Uncle. Or maybe, something else might happen... Something more terrifying! "I'm scared." The whispers called to me again, nudging me forward to the stairs leading to the attic. I hardly ever came up here and it felt almost unfamiliar to do so. Uncle Al told me a lot of ghoul stories to keep me away while my father always debunked them when I asked to spend the night in his bedroom. The fond childhood memories gradually inked into a nightmare. A nightmare?

When her mother was lulling her to sleep that night, she read the expression on her face and interpreted it right-Fear "What are you scared of?" She asked softly "What I'll see on the night before my birthday" she answered with a small voice. "Don't worry, it won't be bad this time, I'll pray for you" and then her mother prayed until she fell asleep.

“The myth of the night where the Great vampire prince, awakens. The one who has the ability to make the dead undead?” “I don’t believe in those legends or myths, Garza. I’ll just see my parents as soon as possible and be done with it,” I replied him. “You might not believe it, child. But be careful, for whoever awakens him, becomes his bride till eternity,” I scoffed at his words, breathing it off and leaving Julian with him as he had bad feeling about literally everything. Here is me now, presently. I’m trying not to be scared because from my experience in horror movies, ghosts didn’t made people die. It was themselves.

I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. As I watch Sky sleep I realize two things, one being that I have finally embraced the fact that I'm a nonhuman and the other is that for the first time in my life I am truly scared. For the last few days all I have been feeling this intense fear, gut wrenching fear that at any moment one of the demons after me would come and kill the love of my life. Hence why I have been watching him sleep and basically following him around for days now.
