Novel & Cerita Let's Talk About Kevin

That way, there won't be any interference from Benjamin Winchester about their marriage and the baby. During his time in Boston, he made a very useful friend. His name was Kevin Michaels. A black man with a big sense of humor. Kevin ran a fight club and was a boxer himself. "Alex! My man!" Kevin burst into the nightclub with a shiny grin plastered across his face. "Have a seat." Alessandro offered. Kevin swiveled the stool and perched on it. "So, what do you need from me?" "You." Kevin rattles out a contagious laugh. "Whoa! I don't swing like that, bro."

Kevin was clean-shaven and smelled of fresh cut grass. “Hello, you must be Kevin.” I said as I extended my hand to him. “Yes, Luna. I am Kevin McClaren. Is everything ok? Should I be nervous?” “No. Why would you be nervous?” “I’ve seen you kill a lot of wolves over the last few days. Don’t get me wrong, they’ve all deserved death for their betrayals. It appears that every time you call for a wolf to talk to you, they are carried out.” Kevin replied while maintaining his gaze on his shoes.

Kevin sighed and said, “Fine. I’ll just go straight to the point then. Look, I need your help. I know I’m the last person on earth you’d want to help, and I understand that. But the thing is, I don’t know anyone else to turn to. You are my last resort.” Kate remained silent, waiting for Kevin to finish his ridiculous speech. “I’ve fallen on hard times, K – Mrs. DaCosta,” he continued. He scratched his beard uneasily and added, “I got kicked out of the MBA program. I don’t want to get into details, so don’t ask.” Kate was still silent, watching him.

"What we need right now are more people" Kevin spoke angrily, looking at all of us. I told them about all the stuff that's been going on, the dead girl and the note. They were shocked but I know that everyone knew at some point this would happen, it didn't take us long to start discussing what we should do.

Anders says. Kevin bangs his fist down on the table, rattling cutlery and plates. "I don't want that bastard anywhere near my city. He better go back to whatever pit of hell he's been in for the past ten years, he's not welcome here." "Who's Rhys Van Allen?" I ask quietly. "Shut the hell up!" Kevin grinds out. "Don't be so harsh dear." His older sister Blair drawls. "She doesn't know that she's not supposed to interrupt when her betters are talking."

I said to her. "Oh...I see." She smirked. I knew that smirk. I knew what she was thinking. I gave her a look asking her not to comment now. She just smiled at me. "Okay fine, if Mr. Blackiston is sending his driver to pick you two then I have no problem. I'll leave then." Kevin said. But I felt a hint of sadness in his voice. "Take care. Bye." Kevin said and left for home. "So, Mr.Blackiston and personal driver, huh?" Lauren teased.

Kane slid into the driver's seat, gripping the wheel tighter than necessary. The redhead was making him talk. More than he had in an entire week. He wasn't sure how she did it. He wasn't a talkative person—Sebastian and the guys at the ring never shut up about it. You're a broody motherfucker, Kane. Loosen up a little. But he didn't like talking. He didn't like smiling either. Yet, here he was.

My curiosity made me blurt out. “The kiss we shared at the cafeteria, the cold night in my car, my 20th birthday..." He folded his arms as he listed them. My eyes roved about in surprise, very eager to know what next he would say. “I am Kevin, Kevin Fawcett!" All the events he listed, came running fresh in my memory. ‘Holy sh*t! I am doomed!'

At this time, I can only think of one lady. “Oh, lest I forget, now that you're here, I'm sure we'll all have a great time together.” “What are you talking about?” Kevin grinned, licking his lips. There's only one reason for him to act this way. “Don't tell me you'll be having a girl over?” “Well, you're right about that, but it's not just any woman.” I creased my brow, wondering why Kevin seemed kinda serious about the girl he's talking about. “Wait, you finally found someone for keeps.”

He turned around showing his back to Jasmine and the smile faded away. What did Kevin want to talk about all of a sudden? I made sure to threaten him well the last time we spoke. And all these days he had been silent. I thought he accepted his defeat... But again who am I kidding he's Kevin. He isn't someone who would raise their hands in surrender. I guess I'll just have to figure things out. Kevin was not someone whose moves could be predicted. Stefen and Kevin were in good terms when they were young as Kevin was only few years elder than Stefen. He was definitely not the best elder cousin in the world but yes, he was far better than the Kevin he was now.
