The Wrong Kind Of Right

The Wrong Kind Of Right

Even the judge’s brows twitched in faint surprise, this wasn’t a name anyone had expected to hear. Julian kept his gaze forward, ignoring the speculative looks darted between the lawyers, ignoring the sudden, sharp way Luca’s head turned toward him. He knew what his appearance would signal: disruption, danger… and maybe, just maybe, salvation. The clerk stepped forward, holding out the worn leather Bible. “Place your left hand on the Bible, raise your right hand,” she instructed. Julian obeyed without hesitation, palm pressed firmly against the cool, aged cover. His expression didn’t flicker, not even when his eyes found Asher’s across the room.

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

"She chose the wrong son." The room shifted. Ryan stiffened. Zeta's jaw tightened. I remained still. Outwardly calm. Inside Kai was snarling. "And who," I asked quietly, "was the right one?" "Darius." The name hit the air like a stone. Mara inhaled sharply behind me. Kai snarled low. My brother. Of course. The door behind us creaked open without a sound. The temperature dropped. Not gradually. Instantly. The air changed. Thickened.

The One

The One

“Maerilee, you have a great responsibility ahead of you. The strength of the barrier depends on you and your Ones.” I nod, my heart swelling with determination. I may not fully understand what’s happening, but I know I’ll do whatever it takes to protect Altinna. This is my duty, and I won’t shy away from it. Just as the pressure in the room begins to ease, Permiton speaks up again, his tone grave. “There’s one more thing we need to consider,” he says, his eyes locking onto mine. “Maerilee, if you are meant to have four Ones, you’re still missing two.”

Choose One Of The Two Alpha

The pack healer spoke quietly to his Beta nearby. “The spinal nerves are damaged. He may never regain full use of his legs.” The Beta’s voice shaked. “I’ll tell Lila. If she knew he saved her—” “No,” Kade interrupted, cold and firm. “No one tells her. Ever.” He turned toward the window, where the sun was rising over the mountains. He remembered my last words—Let me go—and for the first time, he understood. Some mistakes, once made, can never be undone.

Nothing is Forbidden, Right?

Nothing is Forbidden, Right?

Isis interrupted and Lex stared at her perplexed. "Why not?" He questioned. "I wasn't really adamant about gaining anything, I forfeit the prize entirely to Tony." She enlightened. Lex and the entire room grew still. The boys couldn't believe what they were hearing, whereas, Lex felt that in rejecting his prize, Isis was indirectly rejecting him. "Ms. Davenport I am extending the prize, so it doesn't affect what I initially promised, you are not taking any of Tony's winnings and nor he yours." Lex attempted to persuade her.

I just thought this story was wonderful! The interactions, conversations, personalities were just real, sweet, emotional and fun. Just enough tension to spice it up but nothing stupid in behavior or words. Well done! Loved it!
Kara Lynne Anderson
This was excellent. I enjoyed it and was relieved that the author didn't try to add in a plot twist that would have changed the personality the story built for each character. the characters were so relatable and the forbidden aspect made every encounter filled with all the right tension.

WRONG

WRONG

And I can't let that happen. I bring my attention to the ring and Chase already wins the fight. The suit man takes his hand and lifts it to the air, announcing Chase as the winner. The audience who came to watch were already on their feet, congratulating Chase. Some scream, others Cheers. I'm already on my feet with Roxie as we join the others to cheer him. Today might be the last day Chase will ever speak to me again. Chase turns to look at the crowd, his eyes on me and then he smirks. A lopsided smirk.

Marked by the wrong mate.

Marked by the wrong mate.

“You arrive late. We’ve already wasted time on this... disgrace.” Kael folded his arms. “I didn’t ask for a council meeting.” “She was found on your territory. Marked by you.” “I was injured. Disoriented.” His voice was flat. Cold. How could he be so nonchalant in a situation like this. “Yet your instincts were clear enough to claim her,” Elder Mira snapped. “Are you saying you made a mistake?” Kael didn’t answer. Toran slammed his cane against the floor. “This is a violation of centuries-old laws. She is not of the blood. She has no wolf. She is rogue. We cannot accept her as Luna."

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

“Put your dominant foot forward.” I looked down at my feet. “Which one is that?” I asked. He gave me one of those blank, neutral faces that I knew by now meant I had said something stupid, but he had too much princely self-control to tell me so. Then he dropped his sword, stepped forward, and shoved me with both hands. I stumbled backward, dropping my sword, but caught my balance. “What was that for?” I asked. Nolan smiled mischievously. “The right is your dominant foot,” he said. “That’s the one you stepped back onto, to keep yourself from falling.”

I have really enjoyed this book as a whole… so far. I’m about 70% of the way into the story and find myself mostly happy with the book. I’m just wondering, why does the Prince have such a hang up about weight? It just seams a bit passive aggressive on the negative comments, and name calling.
