She gave me inquisitive look. "He doesn't talk too much about his personal life. You know him." I simply replied. She nodded and let me see their conversation. "I was just wondering, Kuya Yzack won't authoritatively tell me this stuff." I smiled as I read his text. For sure it was Thorn. He said, 'don't mind him. Just eat your dinner tonight. Don't think too much.' I nodded in response. "Maybe it was Thorn." She was smiling while looking at her screen. Her eyes smiled at the same time and her dimple below her lower lip emphasized. She kinda looked similar to Thorn. I looked at my wristwatch.

Taking a swing of whiskey I look away from her "I mean I'm sitting in a grave site with a bottle of whiskey and a cigar in my hand so I would say I'm okay" I shrug and she smiles sitting next to me. She picks up the bottle and pops the lid taking a sip of the beverage with a slight gag here and there "How are things with you," I ask her and she shrugs. While she has the bottle I start lighting the cigar "I bought a library awhile back so I've been running that," she says and I scoff blowing out a cloud of smoke. I'm not surprised she even owns one she's obsessed with Booktok
