Happily Ever Mate

Happily Ever Mate

I have less time than when we met, but as the gods as my witness, I’ll sweep your heart's desires towards me and care for the damages I have left in you. Please consider my invitation to my estate this evening. I made preparations for us both, if not I understand your choice, but I will ask another time for this same letter. Goodnight Liz, I hope to receive your reply shortly. Your Legolas.’ This letter had made no sense to me, for over half the notes I had read, father was nothing but an ignorant child towards mother, stubborn, mean, cruel to her in moments where she needed a shoulder, recalling anything to hurt her heart for he had not gained his wolf, he had no bond with mother, till now.

When love turns to ashes

When love turns to ashes

He smoothed the paper as if it were fragile. He had written them in the quiet that had come after his father’s hospice visit: a note to June apologizing with precise tenderness, asking her to keep loving, and a letter to Valerie filled with the ridiculous, specific things about mangoes and lemon tarts and how to braid hair, so that when she read it one day it would feel like a father’s voice reaching from a place beyond.

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

"I was the one who asked him to come and work for us. I felt responsible for his well being." 'You were... he never told me who.' She remembered the day the letter came. Her father was on their porch repairing a wooden rocking chair when a special courier came, a military man from Pyre dressed in full regalia. "Tyberion Ibori?" the man asked. "Yes?" her father replied, and the man extended the letter to him. "What's this?" "A letter for you, sir," the man informed him. "Communications from Pyre." "A letter? Who is it from?" her father asked out loud, but the man remained silent as he stood and waited. Her father opened the envelope and read the lines of the letter. "...Ridiculous."

BILLIONAIRE HEIRESS' REVENGE

BILLIONAIRE HEIRESS' REVENGE

I stared at it for a long time, my heart beating faster. Finally, with a shaky breath, I tore it open. Inside was a letter. A real handwritten letter. The handwriting was neat but shaky, like someone older had written it. My heart pounded as I unfolded the paper and began to read. "Dear Natalie," "If you are reading this, it means I am no longer here to tell you myself. I am your father, and there are things you need to know. Things that were hidden from you to keep you safe..." I froze. My father?

Loathed by the Alpha

Loathed by the Alpha

/Aiden’s POV/ Rose handwriting was a sight for sore eyes, and so I curled up tightly in my side of the bunk, letting the words take me away. Dear Alpha, I am sorry that there is no other way to communicate. Your father told me that he used to write letters to his family in those days, so I am doing the same. I hope you are alright and have been looking after yourself.

This was an excellent book, written well with an awesome storyline. I enjoyed it and the only thing that I didn’t like was the author’s commentary after each chapter it took away from this exciting book. Other than that great job author will look for more from you.

Really liked this book. It shows that our own perceived ideas about what we believe, can cause us to draw the wrong conclusion. If Rose hadn't switched places, she would have lost her true mate. Aiden's past corrupt his vision of what he could've had with Rose from the beginning.

I Was Hired To Seduce My Boss

I Was Hired To Seduce My Boss

I lifted the top letter and read the first line. My dearest Eleanor, I do not know if you will ever read this. I do not know if I will ever have the courage to send it. I looked up at her, my grey eyes meeting hers. "Who wrote this?" She was silent for a long moment. Then she said, "Your father." I spent the rest of the morning reading. The letters were intimate, raw, the words of a man who had loved deeply and lost deeply. He wrote about the network, about the choices he made, about the daughter he never got to know.

Live Suicide

Live Suicide

Perhaps my letter will be the catalyst for her demise. I just smiled tirelessly at him. “Thank you, Adrastos, but I don’t want to write a letter for mum,” I refused his offer. “Are you sure?” “Yes...” He let out a loud exhale. “How about writing a letter to your father? Friends? Lover? You will not write them a letter?” I shook my head. “I don’t want to write a letter, but I want you to let them know that the money came from me; that’s all I need.”

Before love Lies

it read, “I hope this letter finds you well. I hope your father is there, as proud as the day you were born I pray that he healthy and you are as well . I know some things may not make sense writing this note brings me no joy knowing my time here is limited but I wanted you to know that I love you that when you find out the truth that you wont blame him for the choices that I made , but the truth is beyond what you could ever know. I hope you follow your father’s footsteps and be the man we raised you to be. Joining the the army will be our wish . When you come home from your four years of service I hope. Your father will tell you only after you come home why there’s such importance to joini

My Step-Brothers’ Forbidden Addiction

My Step-Brothers’ Forbidden Addiction

"He hoped you'd never need that letter. But he wrote it because he knew you probably would." I looked down at the letter in my hands. The paper was damp from my tears and the ink had smudged in places where I'd pressed my fingers too hard against the words. My father's handwriting stared back at me, shaky and cramped and real, and I read the last line again. Walk back into whatever room tried to break you and show them exactly what they missed. "You said you could train me," I said.

Out Of Bounds

Out Of Bounds

He said and hung up. I pulled up his email and thought about what I wanted to say. It had to sound like it was coming from her father and not me. "Finny girl, If you are reading this letter, it means that I am gone. I know that you and your mother's relationship is strained. I never wanted that for you. I just want you to be happy. And if I know your mother, she is going to cut you off. I loved both of you very much and I could and would never choose. I want to make sure that you are taken care of. I have a trust set up so you don't have to worry about anything. If you haven't finished school, I want you to do that and I want you to play ball. You are the best ball player I've ever seen. You
