I hated that he was making sense. He wasn't deflecting. He wasn't lying. He was handing me the truth. And that made me the hypocrite. Levi was suppose to protest and force her to join them as she was a powerful asset, but Azrael let her do her thing as she thank her for helping them. Lexi on the other hand, she was much more nervous knowing all the lycans knew her and her relationship with Brody. And speaking of… “Something wrong, Lexi?” Lexi was cut off of her daze as she stared at Levi’s worried eyes. She could only reply with a smile and a nod. “Yeah yeah, I’m fine.” Levi was suppose to hold her hand but she fastly withdraw her hand away from him. And damn, the look on Levi’s face. He was surprise, hurt, and stunned. He only looked at her but she avoided his gaze. Levi bit his lip and forced himself to smile painfully.

A silent groan leaves my lips, catching the attention of Lucern who eyes me suspiciously. Levi’s deep laughter draws my attention back to him, the twinkle in his eyes making me want to punch his face in. “What the hell is going on between you two right now?” Jamari asks, her curious eyes moving between the both of us. Levi turns around to face her questioning gaze. “Nothing you should be concerned about, Sweetheart.” He tells her, grabbing her hand to place a loving kiss on the top. ‘Don’t worry Kenji.’ Levi adds through our link. Everyone is talking about it, he has never changed it even when he was rumored to be dating the hot girls at school.” “He might have fallen in love, who knows?” I muttered. Diana burst into uncontrollable laughter. “If Levi Sinclair is in love then I am naturally a redhead.”

Levi is just a ghost who will eventually be wooed away to step back. I didn’t know she had to suffer, a lot but all I could see, I wanted to see, was a bright future with me and her.
