"Don't tell me to calm down," Levi fired back at Andrei, ignoring his hospitality as he rapidly ran his fingers on his phone, flipping between various apps. Holly and Andrei's phones pinged a moment later with several texts from him.

Levi told her with a sad tone as he sent her flying. It took some while but she finally spotted Xena by the road side. She landed on Xena's shoulder and began to screech. "Levi? Yes I'll wait right here." She replied to Akeelah's screech. A while later, Levi arrived with Akeelah and without thinking, he instantly hugged Xena by surprise. "Don't ever leave me like that again. I thought I've lost you. I mean you scared me." He spoke softly, pulling out to gaze at Xena.

I nodded, putting my left hand on her own, squeezing it gently. “I believe that you are stealing my mate” Alexei stated, breaking our conversation. Maddie and I laughed, turning to face him, and seeing me looking better; he smiled. Maddie took a step back, heading toward the door where I knew Ivan would most probably be waiting for her. The exhaustion on Alexei’s face told me that his day was long enough as it was. I walked into his spread arm when Maddie walked out, smiling when he pulled me closer, hugging me tightly. Alexei kissed the crown of my head, letting his lips linger there for a few seconds before he laid his cheek on it.
