“Really? You’re actually offering to take a photo of me?”
“Of course,” Katrine said warmly. “You deserve to remember today.”
Lexie stepped onto the stone platform. The wind rushed up around her, whipping her hair. She turned, laughing. “Alright, do I look epic or not?”
“Just a little closer…”
Katrine said, stepping forward.
Lexie obeyed, taking one more step until she stood at the cliff's edge, the cold wind brushing against her cheeks as she smiled over her shoulder.
Katrine was right, from this point, she could actually see the valley stretching out below her like a dream painted in white and gold.
