Oopsie Daisy: A Steamy Romantic Comedy

Oopsie Daisy: A Steamy Romantic Comedy

Liam popped an olive into his mouth. My mom shot Liam a dark look. “Watch your mouth. You might not be my son by blood, but we don’t talk like that in this house.” I couldn’t help the laugh that burst forth. “Mom, if I had a dollar for how many times I’ve heard you say ‘fucking hell’ when you got a bad tarot reading—” “You’d be completely broke.” My mom turned to get something from the stove, only to almost run into Mari. “Good lord, this kitchen is too small for all of you. Out, out, out!”

The Rejected Luna’s Rise

The Rejected Luna’s Rise

She said. She was almost out of breath but she just kept rambling like she wanted to be very sure I’d never talk to Lily any longer. “Mom, what are you even talking about? Is this the new plan you guys came up with? To slander Lily after making her suffer years ago? I’m really disappointed.” I shook my head. “No, I’m telling the truth. She attested to it, I’m telling the truth, not trying to slander her, it’s all in the audio I recorded.” Mom said.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Mom was so worried that her pants were almost on fire when you didn't answer her calls! "Brat, only liars' pants catch fire. I'm your mother!" Lina laughed as she listened, tears streaming down her face. She took deep breaths and fought to contain her welling tears and softly called out, "Dad, mom!" The words came naturally and with genuine emotion, but they seemed like a mocking taunt from destiny to Linda's ears. Linda's expression shifted, and her fingers involuntarily clenched, digging into her flesh with force.

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Pregnant For Mr Billionaire

Pregnant For Mr Billionaire

my mom said as she stood up. "Mom!!!" I couldn't help but yell in amusement. My mom didn't talk instead, she winked at me and went up the stairs. "Don't mind my mom, she can act crazy sometimes" I said with an apologetic smile to Liam. "I heard that!!" my mom shouted up the stairs making me laugh nervously. Liam's chuckle echoed throughout the living room and I couldn't help but join in the laughter. Our laugh slowly died down as Liam held his ribs.

After One Night

After One Night

Something I know I don’t have in me. “Boss, I know you lost your memory and it will take you a while to believe me over your family completely, but your mum and Fiona are liars.” They lied to you and they’re still doing it till now.” How dare he call my mother a liar because of a maid? For Fiona, I understand she’s a liar, but not my mum. “What do you mean? What gave you the right to call my mum a liar? And what the hell did she lie about?” I asked.

My New Stepbrother, My Mate

My New Stepbrother, My Mate

Writer’s pov Liana was avoiding a situation where her mom would see her return home so early, but she eventually had to see it because things didn’t go as planned anymore. “Mom, I forgot to check the message on the platform, and I forgot that today is usually our work-free day. We do not do anything at work today.” My mom did not look very convinced when she heard what I said because it was clearly a lie, and I’m not very good at telling lies, so she easily gets me when I lie.

Remembering Liam

Remembering Liam

Two days without Liam, it's a record. "Scarlet eat your food, you'll be late for school," mom says flicking my forehead. "Mom do you think I could stay home today, my head hurts" I lied holding my head as it hurts. Truth is I don't know what to do if I meet Liam. "Young lady, I know what you are playing at?" Mom says suspiciously. "What do you mean mom?" "You are scared you'll get your test paper today, " "What? I don't even think about that, now that you reminded me, my head hurts more "

My Mother's Blind Faith in a Lie Collar Broke Me

My Mother's Blind Faith in a Lie Collar Broke Me

The officer continued, "I want to be an ordinary child. I want to eat the pulled pork you make." Mom stared at the plastic parts. The "honest green light" she had believed in so deeply turned out to be nothing more than a cheap toy. Because of this toy, she had spoiled Daniel for ten years, and because of that damned red light, she tortured me for ten years. Mom started laughing. It was a harsh, eerie laugh that sounded ugly. "It's fake… All of it is fake… I killed my most honest child and spoiled a liar."

My Ex-Husband's Temptation

My Ex-Husband's Temptation

“I never did, Mommy. We were only playing.” “He is right, Miss Winter. Liam was nothing but good. He is well-behaved.” I doubted it. Liam was sometimes unruly. The two looked at each other as if they had a personal secret. Liam giggled. “Hey. What’s that supposed to mean? Did you two know something which I did not?” Liam returned his focus to me. “There is none, Mommy.” My eyes narrowed. “You are lying, Liam. Lying is bad.”

Mom Tried to Wife-Swap Me

Mom Tried to Wife-Swap Me

The post had been updated. Mom was crying online again, saying her younger daughter got framed while her older daughter was jealous, bitter, and cruel. Then that same commenter popped up again. [LindaKnowsBest: Then say she's mentally unstable. Claim she was terrified her prettier younger sister would steal her husband, so she set the whole thing up on purpose.] [LindaKnowsBest: Make the medical records and chat logs look legit.] Mom replied almost instantly. [Thank you! I'll do it right away!]
