I ripped my hand away from Alvin's arm and turned around, my expression instantly switching. Benson walked into the dining room, adjusting the cuffs of his expensive suit jacket. He looked perfectly refreshed and put-together. "Good morning, you two," Benson said smoothly, a smile on his face. "Good morning, Benson!" I greeted him back immediately, making my voice sound bright, cheerful. I even forced a warm smile onto my face, acting like I was genuinely happy to see him.

Dylan asked, folding his hands across his muscular chest. Benson turned to me with a goofy grin, "To see Nyx Uren or probably have a chat with her before classes start" he answered and everyone cooed in surprise, staring at me. I felt like a thief who had been caught in the act, how did Benson know about my intentions for planning to leave early? "Speaking of which, I think it would be a good idea if we both go together. The girls giggled, completely unbothered, but they slid inside just as Mimi slammed the frosted glass door shut. Mimi turned around, her heart thumping wildly against her ribs. Since when do you offer those?” “Since you tied yourself to a man who doesn’t know how to protect what he has.” Benson’s fingers stilled against the table. Only for a split second. The next second, he was relaxed, throwing a steak into his mouth. “You’re starting to sound territorial Reed.” Ethan’s expression didn’t change. “I’m past that.”

Adrian owes his invitation to my intervention. The collaboration I secured for Williams Corp with Giga Tech is the reason we’re here tonight. Mark my words, when this deal is finalized, the Williams name will dominate the tech industry.” One of his associates, Mr. Lark, nodded eagerly. “Your foresight is remarkable, Benson. It’s clear the future of Williams Corp rests in your hands.”
