Claimed by the Ruthless Biker
The shockwave threw us down the stairs, the world turning into a kaleidoscope of pain and shadows.
Everything went black.
When I opened my eyes, the sun was rising over Blackridge. I was lying in the middle of the street, surrounded by the charred remains of the Vance Tower. The building was a smoking ruin, a monument to the greed that had nearly destroyed us.
Ruan was beside me, his arm around my waist, his face covered in soot and blood. He looked like a man who had survived an apocalypse.
"Is it over?" I whispered.
Ruan looked at the ruins, then at the Phantoms who were gathering around us. Vulture, Jax, Bear—they were all there. Battered, bruised, but alive.
