Life Is A Destination Not A Journey Novels & Stories

Then Drew spoke up again. "Hey, have you ever noticed how people always seem to be in such a hurry these days?" I thought about it for a moment. "Yeah, I have. It's like everyone's always rushing to get somewhere, but they never seem to enjoy the journey." Drew nodded. "Exactly! And it's not just about the destination, it's about the experience. The people you meet, the things you see... that's what makes life worth living." I smiled, enjoying the conversation. "I couldn't agree more. Sometimes I think we just need to slow down and appreciate the little things in life."

Mina says. "To grandmothers who leave escape routes." "To Claire, who's finally using them." I drink. Eat cheese. Look at my messy paintings. And think: This is what fifty thousand dollars buys. Not things. Not security. Not even survival. Freedom. The freedom to build a life worth living, one impractical moment at a time. In my first timeline, I died never knowing this feeling. This timeline? I'm alive. And I'm keeping it that way.

I understand you are very unsure, and it's perfectly fine to be. I want to start the journey of my life from the very bottom with you. I want to reach the pinnacle of this journey only with you. I want to eventuate a haphazard journey and travel through the length of the roads and flow of the rivers, take a road as it comes by without any pronounced destination. Only with you.

We find solace in the company of those who share our dreams and uplift us during the darkest of times. Ultimately, the journey is not just about the destination; it's about the experiences, the people we meet, and the lessons we learn along the way. It's about the emotions we feel, the dreams we chase, and the legacy we leave behind. So, let's embrace the adventure, write our own story, and contribute to the beautiful and ever-evolving tapestry of life.
