As the first light of dawn peeked through, I saw Samuel. He was gone, turned into a ghost. His stubborn spirit had somehow tied me down too, like invisible chains I could not break. I wanted to get away, never to see him again, but I was stuck. He noticed me as well. His face, which had been ashen, suddenly lit up with an incredible glow. He blinked, tears streaming down his face. "Yocelyn!" He was so overwhelmed, moving to grab my hand.

The words shattered me, their icy shards dancing across my skin like a maelstrom of frozen needles. And then, in an instant, Rayne was bathed in a blindingly radiant white light. Its intensity was almost palpable, a physical force so piercing it felt like a blow to my eyes, forcing me to recoil from its brilliance. The light expanded rapidly, erupting outward in a blinding flash, before being somehow absorbed into Rayne's body, as if her very cells were drinking in its essence. The phenomenon was both mesmerizing and terrifying, leaving me awestruck.

After receiving a proof that a necromancer was indeed hidden on the Akashia Village, the Maelies gave an order to twenty Light Oracles to kill the whole tribe. These Light Oracles are the personal Army of the Royal Bloodline, consisting of people who can manipulate two to three elements and combine them to make a new element of their own. One Light Oracle's strength is always leveled 10 times more than a normal element user so wiping the Akashians is of no difficulty for them.

The light was blinding and hurt my eyes, just like it would if you looked into the sun for too long. Out of the light, a hand came through, like it was reaching out to me. Another blood-curdling scream left my lips. What the fuck is going on?! A scream of pure terror. Help me!

The sickly green light in the eyes of the undead shifters snuffed out instantly as the beams zapped through their ranks, killing the shadow creatures left and right.

Her lips brushed the spot, her fangs poised, her heart thundering with the ecstasy of victory. And then... The room erupted in blinding light. It poured through the walls and windows, a searing, silver brilliance that swallowed every shadow. Blair cried out, jerking back, shielding her eyes. The air vibrated, alive with raw power that surged in waves strong enough to rattle the floor beneath them. Silas’s glazed eyes widened, a spark of recognition flickering through the haze. The light condensed into a figure, familiar, untouchable, burning with divine fury.

He grasped the Zenith Token tightly, but no matter how fast he reacted, he couldn’t catch that fleeting white light. Still, Liam managed to sense the aura that came from the dissipating light. His body shuddered, and a flash of shock crossed his eyes. Even though the aura was faint, the overwhelming sensation it brought—like a massive tidal wave or the blinding radiance of the sun—instantly made Liam's hair stand on end!

Then the strangest thing happened; the shadows formed by the golden light magic solidified and lashed out at the monsters; tendrils of black clawing at their eyes and other vulnerable places.
