I blinked at the influx of information, staring at the earthy and pastel tones. They seemed to all go well together, forming a cohesive band of colors. He’s always been monochrome,” she replied, turning over to the next page. “I was thinking something a little more…dark. Merlot? Jacarta? Old burgundy?”

I finished it and I went to the other side to the same. The cellophane is in color pink to have a gradient effect when taking a pictorial. Imagine a blue and a pink? So aesthetic. I noticed they couldn’t focus on what they were doing because I was grabbing their attention.

“I suppose you haven’t had much influence on the decor?” “I’m just a guest,” I say stiffly, keeping my arms crossed to protect my squashing stomach. Christ, do I have to have a bad stomach today of all days? “Right. Of course,” she says, her tone implying that guest is a generous word. “Well, that’s for the best. When Nero and I are married, I’ll be gutting most of this. I’m thinking lighter tones. Creams, golds. Something that screams legacy, not… whatever this gloom is.”

I managed. ‘Nice. Great job, Morgan. Very smart of you.’ I internally rolled my eyes. "Nice," he repeated. "Can you be more specific?" Heat crawled up my neck. Everyone in the room was looking at me now. Waiting. "I think the color palette works," I said, forcing my brain to function. "And the styling feels... aspirational without being unattainable. Which is what you want for luxury positioning." There. That sounded halfway intelligent. Damien nodded slowly. "And the concept of featuring you in various intimate settings? Bedroom. Bathroom. Private spaces. Does that make you uncomfortable?"
