~Liliana Rosalyn~ Warm ray of light heats up my skin, calling me back to life. Fluttering slowly for adjustment, I pause to admire the room. I haven't really paid much attention to it until now. The faint purple led lights coming from the ceilings' corners attract me even more. The room is painted dark ash, giving sexy and dangerous vibe, matching the matte black of the furniture. There are different lights but they are all warm and dark colours while the corner lights are purple, radiating off of the black walls. It's so beautiful. It looks something out of a fantasy picture. The yellow light was relaxing, along with the black and white marble floor and walls. Is this his unit’s motif? I don’t know. I didn’t examine it last night because I was too focused on Ryu’s kisses. And this morning, I was focused again on his naked body sprawled out in front of me. And I feel guilty, that I didn’t even take the time to examine how beautiful his unit is. I was right; Ryu’s unit’s motif was black and white. Simple, yet elegant and powerful. Ryu doesn’t have too many things. Aside from the fridge, television, and audio component that was displayed in his living area.

Darker. It was for my own selfish interests. Most of the doors were the usual colors. Soft blues for peaceful dreams, gentle greens for nature-inspired fantasies, warm yellows for happy memories. Some pulsed with brighter light, indicating particularly vivid dreams. Others were darker, showing the troubles their dreamers were processing. But one door caught my attention immediately. It was bright red. Not the soft red of roses or the warm red of sunset, but the harsh, violent red of fresh blood. The door pulsed like a heartbeat, and I could feel waves of guilt radiating from it even from across the cloudy space.

For example, one’s aesthetic was a rich, dark wood that was highlighted by antiqued brass, while another’s space was filled with curved, matte metals etched with patterned textures. Each one had unique and beautiful lighting, from somber oranges to bright blues. They all exuded unique vibes that attracted different people to them. Some loved them all and wandered between. Many of the more affluent attendees most certainly found themselves there, where they chatted amongst each other and drank the remainder of the cycle away. The room was unfamiliar, tastefully decorated in shades of grey and white. The room I found myself in was a masterclass in understated masculine elegance. The color palette was a symphony of cool greys and crisp whites, punctuated by accents of deep charcoal and rich espresso brown. Sunlight streamed through floor-to-ceiling windows adorned with gauzy white sheers, casting a soft, diffused glow across the space.

She shifted on the chair as eyes darted between me and Luca. An idea slipped into my head like the Christmas bells. “I think I have an idea." I leaned, my eyes gleaming. “It might not be about it not being creative, but rather the colors.” I tilted the laptop towards me. “Most of the designs are in bright colors; probably he wants dark colors.” Luca leaned in; his eyes widened like he caught on to what I was inferring. “Then we use light colors to accentuate them.” “Exactly instead of light colors and accentuating with dark colors.” My hair draped around the laptop as I leaned in to edit, and I tucked it behind.

They did not expect her to treat Charmine with such friendliness. Charmine merely scoffed. ‘Does she think I’m stupid?’ she mused to herself. The Ruby Red collection was no doubt a queen-color collection; it would definitely stand out among the rest. Nonetheless, this was a summer collection shooting. In summer, everyone would prefer clothes in lighter shades, especially the light shade of avocado; cooling and refreshing. If one were to inspect the streets, it would be a rarity to even see a person in ruby red under the hot summer’s sun!

I said, “Some of these words sounds desperate. Women are supposed to be in charge here, they shouldn’t request. Shouldn’t ask. They summon, Daniel.” He looked me. I looked at him. Gaze stern. Misogynistic bigot. Of course he didn’t like this. It was why I insisted he did it anyways. “We’re changing this set. No red color also. Everything’s supposed to be black and gold.” “Oh I thought red adds to it all. The mood you know.” he shrugged, “Intimate.” “No.” I said slowly looking at him. “Red looks too Inferno. Inferno’s downstairs, we’re not Inferno. We’re Seraph. Also from now on, Gold means approval and black means denial.”

And a gasp ripped out of his throat when he saw what was inside. There was only one word that could even come close to describing the room... Okay two words. Fucking insane. The room was lit with the same bulbs in the main bedroom but they were strangely tinted red. On a closer look, Asher realized these weren't just red bulbs. No, each one had been wrapped with something that looked like red tape, turning the light into a sinister red hue that made every corner look like a crime scene. But the light couldn't even begin to compare to the craziest thing in the room.
