Darker. It was for my own selfish interests. Most of the doors were the usual colors. Soft blues for peaceful dreams, gentle greens for nature-inspired fantasies, warm yellows for happy memories. Some pulsed with brighter light, indicating particularly vivid dreams. Others were darker, showing the troubles their dreamers were processing. But one door caught my attention immediately. It was bright red. Not the soft red of roses or the warm red of sunset, but the harsh, violent red of fresh blood. The door pulsed like a heartbeat, and I could feel waves of guilt radiating from it even from across the cloudy space.

For example, one’s aesthetic was a rich, dark wood that was highlighted by antiqued brass, while another’s space was filled with curved, matte metals etched with patterned textures. Each one had unique and beautiful lighting, from somber oranges to bright blues. They all exuded unique vibes that attracted different people to them. Some loved them all and wandered between. Many of the more affluent attendees most certainly found themselves there, where they chatted amongst each other and drank the remainder of the cycle away. "Okay, I want something beautiful, that catches the eye immediately, but that isn't to in your face." I say and they all nod their heads, thinking about what I said. “What about dark blues, maybe some light blues inbetween with silver accents?” Asher’s mother suggests and my mother nods her head with a smile. “I like it. Moonlight tones.” She says, I open my mouth to speak but Anna beats me to it. “I like it, but no pastels, just the dark blue with silver.” She says and I nod my head. “Thank you, I was thinking the same.”

The room was unfamiliar, tastefully decorated in shades of grey and white. The room I found myself in was a masterclass in understated masculine elegance. The color palette was a symphony of cool greys and crisp whites, punctuated by accents of deep charcoal and rich espresso brown. Sunlight streamed through floor-to-ceiling windows adorned with gauzy white sheers, casting a soft, diffused glow across the space.

She shifted on the chair as eyes darted between me and Luca. An idea slipped into my head like the Christmas bells. “I think I have an idea." I leaned, my eyes gleaming. “It might not be about it not being creative, but rather the colors.” I tilted the laptop towards me. “Most of the designs are in bright colors; probably he wants dark colors.” Luca leaned in; his eyes widened like he caught on to what I was inferring. “Then we use light colors to accentuate them.” “Exactly instead of light colors and accentuating with dark colors.” My hair draped around the laptop as I leaned in to edit, and I tucked it behind.

Leigh’s POV I decided to wear red. Not the ones referred to as burgundy, not even wine. And also, can't be compared to 'journalist chic' maroon. It was just red. Stoplight polished red. The type populary known as reputation rebuilding red. “Are you very close convinced you would want to share your views about this with the public?” Logan finally decided to ask after what seemed like forever, as we sat quietly in the back of the car like people heading straight into the lion’s den for slaughter.

"Now let's get you ready shall we?" There were lights on the lawn, some people littered just at the entrance. Cafe were parked just in front of the building and also on the street. He had gotten accustomed to the yellow and red colours of the restaurant which was lightened even more with not only the help that the dark night offered, but also by some series of colourful amber lights, making it to shine ever so gloriously. The beautiful lights around this building looked more like a transitory brightness when glared at, blaze of beautiful lights which looked more like christmas lights, gentle glow coming from numerous fluorescent tubes which were located at every corner of the restaurant.

They did not expect her to treat Charmine with such friendliness. Charmine merely scoffed. ‘Does she think I’m stupid?’ she mused to herself. The Ruby Red collection was no doubt a queen-color collection; it would definitely stand out among the rest. Nonetheless, this was a summer collection shooting. In summer, everyone would prefer clothes in lighter shades, especially the light shade of avocado; cooling and refreshing. If one were to inspect the streets, it would be a rarity to even see a person in ruby red under the hot summer’s sun!

Misogynistic bigot. Of course he didn’t like this. It was why I insisted he did it anyways. “We’re changing this set. No red color also. Everything’s supposed to be black and gold.” “Oh I thought red adds to it all. The mood you know.” he shrugged, “Intimate.” “No.” I said slowly looking at him. “Red looks too Inferno. Inferno’s downstairs, we’re not Inferno. We’re Seraph. Also from now on, Gold means approval and black means denial.”
